An excellent hotel facing the breach in Brighton. The breakfast was fantastic; Gym, pool, spa are very good. No complaints about the hotel.

Overall it is a positive experience due to its central location.

The front desk staff were friendly & helpful, the room spacious & comfortable. Also a really good selection at breakfast.

Ideal location, very close proximity to the city centre and right across from the beach. Perfect for a weekend getaway

Room was clean and well presented, the shower was too hot and the adjuster didn’t work, friendly staff, did not eat at the hotel, close to the lanes

A Fantastic Stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole Just back from an outstanding two‑night stay at the Brighton Metropole from Friday to Sunday, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. Brighton was blessed with glorious sunshine all weekend, which made our stay even better — but the hotel itself was the real highlight. A special thank‑you to Kostas (Guest Services – DTHBM) for arranging Room 307 for us. The room was excellent: spacious, comfortable, and complete with a balcony offering stunning sea views across Brighton beach. Waking up to that view was unforgettable. The manager and wider team were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The pool facilities were great, perfect for relaxing, and the Met Bar had a friendly, relaxed atmosphere — ideal for casual drinks and dining. Service there was super friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed spending time there. A big shout‑out as well to the reception team, especially Erik and (I believe) Ellie, for their warm service and, of course, the free warm cookies — a small touch that makes a big difference. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering easy access to Brighton’s attractions, the seafront, and everything the city has to offer. I can absolutely recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, and I’m hoping to book another one‑night stay soon, budget permitting. A brilliant experience from start to finish.

Got a room upgrade on arrival. Right on the seafront and a 10 minute walk to a plethora of restaurants and bars.

As you would expect from a hilton hotel everything was excellent from check in till check out. Staff are all friendly and professional, hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast was superb with everything you ever wanted available. The pool is an added bonus and free for guests as long as you book which is easy, I didn't use the rest of the health club but I am sure that was as well done as the rest of the hotel.

Room was clean. But for the price per night would have expected free WiFi and at a minimum a mini fridge with complementary water. The bed was lumpy and dipped. It honestly was the worst night sleep I ever had. The best thing about this room was the view.

Major reburbishment has taken place. Room was in immaculate condition. Space well thought out. Staff were professional and friendly. Extensive quality breakfast.
