Ok

Room very cold as heating not working.

We have stayed here several times now and every time the service and standards are 100%.

Comfortable hotel. Stayed 1 night prior to a cruise

Room was not clean can see spider web.

Booked four rooms for my boss, and spoke to the hotel before arriving to make sure all was well, but upon arrival the hotel claimed Expedia had cancelled one. Spoke to Expedia and that wasn’t the case. They also tried to double charge for breakfast. Would not use them again.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, lovely breakfast

Food was served cold , she did offer Me a complimentary dessert . When we checked in at 3.00pm there was dirty plates and glasses in the corridor and they were still there at 8.00pm until I asked a manager to have them collected

The stay was for 3 nights but despite of following instructions needed for the staff to clean the property , it was not cleaned for the entire stay. The coffe cups were not washed , the used towels were not changed. We came back every night to view the coffe mugs not cleaned, the used towels were hanged behind the door on the cogs despite of putting those on floor as instructions mentioned for cleaning staff to be cleaned even the stained beddings that we saw on first night were not changed despite of instructions.To sum it up, totally unpleasant and unhygienic experience due to cleaning staff’s lack of diligence. I can share photos that I have taken which we showed to reception while checking out and what we got was a plain sorry.

Nice and quiet, stayed the night prior to going on a cruise at the port (16 mins drive). The hotel is in a wooded area which is pleasant. The rooms were great and clean apart from the floors wernt being hoovered next to the desks or under the bed (found that out when trying to find an earring)

It's about 15 mins drive from the city center and not feasible if you do not have a car.

Really good stay. Hotel spacious, very r clean and staff helpful. Only better if would be more bar staff or the existing ones are a bit more efficient. Some pretty long waits.

From check in to check out, a wonderful experience. Absolutely clean & spotless. One minor (very minor) issue : be careful with the hot water mixer.

Upon arrival very long wait at reception I had booked a family room but second bed not made so I had to queue again. I was not informed about parking charges over £7 per night but blue badge your ok. All disabled spaces were full. The room was nice and clean and so was the hotel. It was quiet too and we slept well. I put the towels in the bath at night to stop the drip from the broken valve in shower. Cookies were nice upon arrival and hotel was situated close to motorway so easy for us to be on route in the morning.

electric sockets, TV, heating were not working - identified too late to report on arrival. Advised reception on departure just to be told we will tell maintenance - considered poor

There was a corporate event the night of our stay. There was singing and lots of shouting outside the main entrance. This continued untill 2.00am. Our room overlooked this area. One of the worst hotel stays of my life.

Amazing

The hotel is a conference venue and is therefore not luxurious or cosy and has the feel of an airport lounge. Breakfast was pretty mediocre with no veggie/vegan sausage (not available until Saturday) the food ran out (cold and hot) and everyone was waiting for it to be replenished, with no urgency or sense of customer satisfaction. Pancake machine not working, no plates by the bread and toast. Milk ran out by cereals and not replenished until asked. Also I saw a member of the breakfast staff question a blind guest about bringing their guide dog into the restaurant and then seated them on the table closest to the entrance making the guests and dog feel most unwelcome (when it was pointed out it’s the law to allow guide dogs in restaurants and the guest stated they were made to feel welcome at dinner the night before) EDI training is needed alongside customer service. Evening meal was ok but my husband’s desert order was wrong and not apparent until we got the bill (wrong chocolate mouse served - he had a tofu mouse and not the chocolate whisky mouse ordered - no wonder it tasted ‘odd’) The room was a good size but we had to ask for enough towels for 2 of us these weren’t in the room on arrival. Only enough tea bags and milk for 1 cup each, and the hairdryer didn’t work well and was 15 months past the expiry date of the PAT test. All in all could be much better with some stronger hotel management and better oversight of the staff. Pretty disappointing experience.
