部屋の窓か整備してないので開かない、エレベーターはあるが、廊下に段がある、駐車場が近くに無い、市街地に車で入りのは混んでいて大変、

バスタブのお湯の流れがものすごく悪かった。 立地条件はとても良い。

Overall the hotel is very good & room was good, just a few tweaks needed & a bit of updating here and there. The breakfast was good & the location is excellent

Lovely welcome from reception ladies, very helpful for carparking details, where to eat, and areas of hotel. Excellent breakfast with well cooked food, server was efficient and helpful. Room great, the bathroom had been refurbished recently to a good standard. Great location. Will return

Lovely hotel. We had a dated room but very clean. Breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. Central location was perfect for walking yo bars, restaurants and shops. 10/10

Excellent stay in a fabulous room, staff were very helpful and welcoming, lovely relaxed bar area. Food was delicious. The Hotel is located right in the heart of Shrewsbury with fantastic local facilities on your doorstep. The only 1 small negative was the shower had very low water pressure but otherwise fantastic time

Short two day stay to visit town and surrounding area. Excellent location, polite helpful staff and an excellent cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again

Excellent hotel but the room was too hot during a very hot period this summer. Maybe some fans would be good. I thought parking was at the hotel but it was a 5 minute walk and not easy to find.

Not having visited Shrewsbury for many years, I wanted to stay in the town centre. The Prince Rupert is a really nice hotel, even if finding it given the intricate one-way system makes things difficult, as does finding the hotel parking lot. The only thing to complain about was the fact that the rooms had no air conditioning, and as the daytime temperature was about 38°C, sleep was hard to come by. But this is an uncommon temperature in Shropshire! I would certainly stay there again, as it is very central for all of the city's amenities.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and set us up for the day. Evening meals were a bit pricey for a mid week break. You can't get anymore central to explore Shrewsbury. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely hotel , old and characterful, the staff were very caring, breakfast excellent. Only one complaint. Pillows very lumpy and hard, probably need replacing. I find this is a common problem with hotels.

I had a very comfortable stay at The Prince Rupert in Shrewsbury. The staff were very helpful and friendly when I checked in. I was staying overnight due to work. I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight, I'd checked my bag in earlier around 9 o'clock on the night, the person I saw after midnight was also very helpful. I was a little worried that I vouldn't lock the room door but the night concierge assured me tgat tge door cannot be opened from the outside. The room/wetroom were spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, I had a very good sleep, and the breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and plentiful, just what I needed to start another day's work, after having a look round the lovely historic area. I highly recommend The Prince Rupert, Butcher Street, Shrewsbury.

Was pretty disappointed with the hotel, the TV in the room only worked on BBC, very tired bedrooms, with old phones and hairdryers. Cleaning was okay however there was bits which hadn't been cleaned as there was hairs still in the bath 🚿

The hotel itself is a beautiful old building and the restaurant is very grand and interesting and the breakfast was lovely. The male staff on the bar on Saturday was so attentive and an asset. However our stay was not what we expected from a 4 star hotel and we will not return. We stayed in room 310 on 27/6/26 and immediately noted it was dated, not the standard I was expecting, albeit clean and tidy. The ceiling was terrible, all marked and paper peeling off and the floor creaked everywhere and could hear this creaking noise from other rooms too. The shower could only be used as a handheld shower as it drooped and would not stay in position. The bed was comfy but the pillows were awful and it did affect my sleep. The third floor during the heatwave was extremely hot, our room was very stuffy, with no air con, and no fan able to be provided when I asked. We could only use it the room to go to bed as very oppressive. The window only opened partially and I ended up opening the curtains at 3am to let some air through, leaving the room too bright and could not sleep after. The kettle was full of limescale and only worked briefly before cutting out so could not have a drink at all. I asked reception, she said she would sort something but nothing came. I went for breakfast and she said she had tried to call me on the phone in the room, but I said that we did not have one in the room which surprised her. I gave up at that point and went for breakfast, as very parched by that point.
