The Gainsborough Bath Spa

I can't fault this hotel or the staff we met. We had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Lovely touches like a mini bar with complimentary soft drinks. It is in a central location, and apart from the fact it doesn't have a car park it is an ideal place to stay. A special shout out to Jenny at reception who went out of her way to be helpful.

Let’s start with the hotel itself, it is stunning, tucked away but also walking distance from pretty much everything, the main lobby is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and easy to get to. The room - It was one of the courtyard rooms, it was spacious, clean, well-appointed and the bed was wonderful, the courtyard is accessible from the room itself through some French doors and very private, it has a good sized TV and the bathroom was wonderful, they give you good quality loo paper (Yes, that’s more important than you think.) Tea and coffee with a coffee machine and the room even had a radio. All in all, 10/10. The Bar – It is a small personal bar, but there are lounges to relax so plenty of space even though it feels personal, a huge selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from and expertly put together and severed by staff that know what they are doing, we will talk about them soon. The Restaurant – We had breakfast and 1 evening meal here, and the food was amazing, good quality and cooked to perfection, and excellent range to choose from, good portion sizes and served quickly without being rushed. とても良いホテルでした。 私の病気のため、スタッフにはお世話になりましたが、気持ちよく対応していただけました。 お部屋もきれいでとても満足でしたし、 海外では初めて冷蔵庫の飲み物がフリーなど、 サービスに気を使っているのを感じました。 値段もロンドンの半額のイメージですね。 そして日本人スタッフのさゆりさんにはとても感謝しています。 日本語で対応して頂いただけではなく、ホテルスタッフとして行き届いたサービスでした。 病気で不安な中、親切に対応してもらえて本当に救われました。 どうもありがとうございました。 バースに行かれる方にはおすすめのホテルです！
