Very comfortable bed, excellent shower, v good freshly-cooked breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff.

Staff- Tom greeted us, checked us in, served us for Breakfast, all of which was excellent. Great customer service all round. What an asset!!

Good standard bedrooms in the pub, small but well finished rooms.

Always enjoy our stays at The Ship. It’s very convenient for Rye without being over priced.

Oude kamers met gescheurde muren. Nog geen stoel op de hotelkamer. Verder zeer gehorig. In het dorp is niets.

Situated in a good position within walking distance off all the Town's attractions. Excellent Breakfasts, set you up for the day. The room was clean and comfortable with good en-suite bathroom, with shower. Would use again on next visit.

Room was immaculate and breakfast was really enjoyable. The ship inn was also in a great location with nearby parking.

I wish I had liked this inn more. When my train was delayed by a few hours, they willingly accommodated a late check-in. However, I was disappointed by the room. First, there is mildew in the shower. Second, they left the service door next to my room open to facilitate housekeeping, but that meant that all the cooking smells from the kitchen below entered my room. Because the windows can’t be opened more than a few inches, there was no way to air the room. I had to clean the fan before I could use it since it was furry with dust. I loved Rye, but not this inn.

Helt ok rom, deilige håndklær på badet, hyggelige ansatte, god frokost. Imidlertid virket ikke aircondition/klarte ikke kjøle ned rommet slik at det ble uutholdelig varmt over natten. Det var veldig lytt og mye bråk når folk lukket dører. Til sist ble vi overrasket over at det ikke fantes parkeringsplasser, da vi oppfattet informasjonen om stedet som at det var parkering tilgjengelig.

Very happy with our stay at The Ship. Our room Skye Chardonnay was very comfortable. Our little dog was made very welcome with a gift box of treats a toy and poo bags of course! The Housekeeping staff were very good.

Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Two flights of fairly steep stairs, not a problem for us but maybe difficult for some people.

Rooms are well-appointed, very clean and have tea and coffee-making facilities. Due to the age of the building it is not air conditioned so can get hot on a warm night, although the hotel supplies fans.

Excellent stay. Clean, safe and a lot of character in the building. Would definitely recommend.
