The staff of Ship Inn were lovely and helpful. The room/bed was fine. The only thing that we had an issue was the bathtub did not drain well so we kept the water low.

It was Christmas, but the staff were distracted by the busy pub and were not helpful when it came to giving me information about parking. And Christmas Day morning the chef didn't turn up for breakfast. The room was basic and clean.

Lovely shabby chic building and style. Good quality room, we had a nice stay! Where does it lose a mark? Pillows were waaaay too soft & breakfast although hearty, over cooked, burnt toast - such a shame. Tidy those points up, and it would be full marks! 😃
