The room was clean, although we didn't have towels. Once notified, we received towels promptly.

La habitación muy vieja, olia mal, a humedad, incluso después de banarte el piso de la habitación permanecia con humedad. Teníamos 3 habitación una de ellas estaba icon animales parecian hormigas voladoras en el colchino y cortina La otra habitación el internet nunca funciono. Lo que si esta excelente es la comida del restaurante y la vista en cada habitación. La playa es pequena y si o si debes de usar tenis de playa ya que esta no tiene arena solo Piedra a mediana y chicas q hacen muy incomodo caminar

Cleanliness wasn’t the best.

Room was old and not well maintained. Curtains did not cover windows. Balcony doors did not lock. Bugs were found in the bed. Beyond disappointing.

Friendly staff. View was great!

Overall it was okay. Definitely not worth the money as the area where this place is located there’s nothing around you. One bar one restaurant attached to the place that has subpar food that’s way overpriced. The rooms and everything are VERY old and outdated. Our ac machine barely worked and had water dripping from the vents. No privacy in the bathroom as they have the windows that stay open 24/7 you can’t shut them. So everyone can hear anything you do in there. Also the sheets and blankets were always stained with yellow or black marks. The curtains in our room were absolutely filthy and black all over them. Very overpriced for what you actually get. It also seems like it’s more of an old people’s home. They have a lot of 65+ and the activity’s they do are mainly for them and take up all of the pool. Very small “private beach”. WiFi never worked just overall for the price I paid I didn’t feel it met my standards no where near it. I hope this helps others look for something worth the money !

This place is magical. It’s very basic so if you’re looking for fancy, it’s not it. But - the views !! We saw dolphins, eagle spotted manta Rey’s, devil manta rays jumping in the ocean. We saw all kinds of fish including angel fish just snorkeling right on that beach. The staff are amazing, the room is comfortable, the food is good. The view though - for the amount you pay, it’s a steal ! We will be back.

Great service, excellent food, close to PVR downtown

The property is clean, the staff is great and the beach is virtually private (a bit rocky and small).

Great quiet resort. Very clean and friendly service. Only negative is its far from everything but if you want to relax this is the place and if you want to go anywhere transportation is available but of course the cost adds up.

Overall, we had a great experience at Costa Sur. We had a lovely view of the ocean and enjoyed having a nice kitchen where we could make and eat meals. I do think the property is in need of some updates as many things needed to be fixed (doors, furniture, appliances) and the elevator didn't work the entire time we were there although we were on the 2nd floor so it didn't really bother us. You cannot walk into town from the property which was a little inconvenient, so you had to take the bus or Uber. I would've enjoyed talking a morning walk from the property but it wasn't possible. The pool was lovely and clean and offered a view of the ocean. I also enjoyed having a restaurant on-site so we didn't have to leave in the evening to eat if we were too tired. The front desk will also not exchange U.S. cash for Pesos so be prepared to use the ATM and pay the fees. The T.V. also worked great as we watched Netflix from time to time after it got dark. All in all it was a great experience but the property could benefit from a few upgrades; however, if they do that the prices would probably increase so it may not be worth it.

Todo es muy bueno, el personal es muy amable, tienen todos los servicios y es muy facil todo, la vista, la ubicación. Quiero volver más veces.

El hotel es viejo, pero en buen estado y todas las habitaciones tienen una excelente vista al mar. El hotel esta bien ubicado, se puede llegar al centro de puerto vallarta en tan solo 10 minutos en auto.
