Great experience. Clean hotel, helpful staff, great location. Recommend doing dinner on the roof top, the view of the cathedral is stunning. Staff helped schedule airport transportation.

Paid for city view did not get it.

Dirty walls, disgusting, had to call the front desk to clean them. Room was not cleaned as you would want.

The walls in the room were dirty, also needs better restroom lighting and a better shower head. My room had a random hole in the wall. The AC was working fine!

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Centro Guadalajara and overall had a good experience. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful — they really went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and nicely maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of good options to start the day. A few things to note: the bar is quite limited, offering mostly local beers, and the drinks are on the pricey side. Also, be cautious about arriving late at night — the area outside can feel unsafe due to the number of homeless individuals nearby. Finding the entrance and parking area can be tricky too, since the front door isn’t clearly visible from the main street and parking signs are not well marked. Overall, it’s a comfortable and well-staffed hotel once you’re inside, but clearer directions and improved surroundings would make for a better first impression.

Upstairs rooftop was closed for a private event. We were not allowed access. This information was a complete surprise on checkin. No information was provided of the rooftop closure on the website. Staff made no effort to accommodate us. The rooftop was literally the reason we chose this hotel. We were very disappointed.
