Not at all what you would expect for the price. Rooms are extremely small and are in desperate need of a remodel. Our window looked out to a wall. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. In general the whole place feels claustrophobic. Building is quite old or “historic” as they like to call it. A lot of drug addicts around the area. Lobby is very small. Have to walk quite far with your luggage to check in as you cannot drive up to the lobby. Area is not what it used to be. It doesn’t feel very safe especially when walking with your luggage to and from transportation. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. If you want to visit the downtown area just take a taxi there. Ended up losing my money and stayed somewhere else within an hour of getting here. No partial refund or anything other than a “too bad you booked through a 3rd party”, the front desk is friendly until you call them out on these things. Did I mention the smell of the place? Not very pleasant to say the least.

Everything was perfect the service and the hotel.

It’s full of homeless people around the entrance the hotel entrance! The hotel had a bad smell. The staff were rude, the room had a terrible sewer smell and was dirty, the bed was full of hair and the rooms, the furniture was old and not well maintained. We made a complaint at the front desk and they dismissed us. They said the hotel was old and that they couldn’t do anything to accommodate us, they didn’t apologize or anything. We walk out and lost our money

Breakfast buffet was great. Hotel not as good as I thought it would be. Restaurant view great. Restaurant service not as good as I expected. Next time I will stay at a different place and just go eat at this restaurant. God bless the person reading this. Jesus is King.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Guadalajara. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. Our stay here was wonderful!

The staff was very attentive and very helpful. This is the best place to stay if you are visiting Guadalajara historic district.

Our stay at Doubletree Hotel City Center in Guadalajara was absolutely amazing. From the friendly staff, convenient location, and the luxury restaurant with amazing views was exceptional. Daily, we either had wash clothes or hand towels missing. For the price we paid daily, it would have been nice to have a pool as part of the amenities. Overall, our experience fantastic. Highly recommend! Without a doubt, I would stay again.

The rooms were incredibly small for the price I paid. I had expected much more. We booked a queen bed and balcony view room, but the room didn’t match the picture at all.

Excellent Costumer service

The hotel was close to the cathedral, subway station, Liverpool, coffee shop and no need for a cab. Housekeeping staff and Fabian were top notch! As for front desk they need some training on customer service. The gal with glasses rather rude, I called a day ahead to confirm if there were grab bars in the restroom, I spoke to someone named Leti confirming. She also read notes on our reservation. When we get to hotel I’m told there’s no notations on my reservation that it must’ve been call center, but I can change rooms for $35 dollars more. Family and I stayed due to location, we made the best of it lots of places walking distance.
