Property was nice enough however we ended up with a group of young men and women yelling and “whooping” through the halls in the early hours of the morning, slamming their doors, generally being really noisy - likely still wound up from one of the wedding receptions I’m assuming. We got very little sleep. Hotels need to do a much better job of not placing regular guests on the same floors as sports tournament teams or event guests, because clearly people have lost any sense of respect for others. Hotel front desk offered nothing in response to our displeasure. Likely won’t be back for the cost.

Everything was perfect except the cleanness of the floor. We noticed few spots had dirt on the floor and looked like it was not cleaned properly. other than that great hotel

The hotel had no power overnight and staff offered no solutions. Elderly guest needed power for CPAP & heart monitor. Hotel unwilling to comp room because I booked through Expedia. Furthermore, hotel manager gave me incorrect email when offering me discounted rate on future stay. Worst hotel experience I have ever dealt with, at any property, globally.

Great amenities! We loved having access to the gym, pools, hot tub and sauna.

Great stay!

Breakfast was very ordinary. Jazz lounge was fun - good music, decent dessert. But worse was the staff, especially during check out. A) front desk wouldn’t pick up the phone so we requested reservations to allow late check out which they did till 1230 pm. However, apparently front desk did not get the update despite reservations lady confirming it’s on the system. Anyway, reception sent someone to our room at 1130 as original check out time was 11 am and they came banging at the door - not a knock but banging at the door. Super rude. Anyway, we didn’t bother staying till 1230 and just left. Zero regret by the lady at reception when we told her at check out. I had her call the reservations lady who was at least apologetic. Would not stay here again or recommend anyone. Cordial staff is very important. A 3 star hotel even feels like a 5 star with staff and service.

Though this is out of the city, it’s the perfect stay for my work travel. Food options are good, gym was nice, and rooms were spacious and lovely.

Great hotel and quite clean. Few things to point out based on others comments. 1. Flys on the 2nd floor where the seats are to sit and relax. 2. No store open after 5pm where you can buy water. 3. If you like very soft mattresses then yes this would work for you but if you’re looking for something more firm these beds are not comfy and the queen size is questionable. 4. Outdoor swimming pool is not open yet and the indoor pool is always packed. 5. Restaurant staff were very helpful.

The room was as expected for a hotel of this level and we enjoyed the Options Jazz Bar on Saturday night, but i feel like the positives ended there. The pet policy was very restrictive almost to the point of being ridiculous. A $250 cleaning fee held on my credit card on top of the $25/pet/day plus a no barking policy... My poor pups were anxious for our whole stay because we took all precautions to jeep them from reacting to people passing in the hallway. My room choice on hotels.com was for 2 queen beds but when I checked in they said my reservation was for a king bed, so we paid $15/day for a rollaway cot. The other unfriendly fee was the $20/day for parking which they charged because they could. The hotel is not in a busy downtown, but in a quiet office building area of a suburban neighborhood My takeaway from staying at Brookstreet ia dobt be fooled by the per night fee shown as there are many fees that will be added to make them more expensive than the other hotel you're considering. This was our first and last stay at this hotel that's far from the action in Ottawa and will charge you enough additional fees to make the nightly fee more than reasonable for the location.

L)lcArrived after 3pm and were told that room was not ready so could not check in. Was told that hotel was very full and many rooms were still not cleaned. Why are more clean staff not brought in when hotel is full up? We had a 5pm party (not in hotel. Finally got key at 4:15pm. This rush was truly unacceptable! Gorgeous place

It's a large corporate style hotel. I'm not a fanof this style of place but it was very conveniently located in Kanata if you have business there. Staff were great especially the wait staff at breakfast.

Awesome place to stay. Lunch in the dining room was good and lounge. Black Gold Burger was amazing, highly recommend! Lounge has exceptional entertainment.

Had a great experience. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
