Great location in downtown, meighborhood was quiet during our trip. Check-in was a bit difficult, and we tried calling for help but got no answer; we had to figure it out on our own with a lot of emails we received. The apartment was very clean, though perhaps a bit small for a family of four but not a big deal. We also had to ask for some basic information, such as where the pool and gym were located, since there was no information sheet posted. Overall, it was great and I recommend it.

If you read the reviews you will see many people complaining about the check in process. Mine was very smooth. They give you a code to open a key locker with the keys. HOWEVER, this was after first having to complete an absurd ID verification where you have to send a photo of both your ID and a selfie of yourself holding the ID. Then after that you have to submit a $200 security deposit. If you ignore both of these and show up to the property the day of your rental you will not get in. Now to the apartment. The location was great the rest was a disappointment. As soon as I walked in I was hit in the face with the smell of cigarettes. It smelled like an ashtray. I messaged multiple times both the help phone number on the key and the customer service number on their website and I was ignored (see photos). The place looked similar to the photos but they were obviously taken a long time ago and the place has become run down. It needs a refresh and a good coat of paint. My unit was right next to the garbage chute and every time someone used it there was a loud grinding sound in the apartment. It was also impossible to close the curtains in the master bedroom because of the window design there is this huge gap so it is bright as day as soon as the sun comes up. Over all the place has potential. If they cleaned it up, gave it a good coat of paint and take care of the window and garbage chute situation. This could be a place I would come back to. As it stands I will not be back.

Very nice and clean. Close to everything downtown all within walking distance.

The location was perfect near the RBC Amphitheatre and the coca-cola Centre for the events we had booked. Check in was good. Amenities were good.

While we understand that it’s a private residence and the desk staff cannot help, the security staff were incredibly rude. We had a terrible check in experience. I messaged and called. Was told everything was resolved and I could get in, and that was not the case. I had paid for parking, could not get into the unit to get the fob to go into the parking lot, and security spoke to me not once but twice, and then watched us like a hawk as if we were criminals

It’s a nice place with a very nice gym and pool, but the experience wit the host is terrible, at the check in, they made me put a deposit and they find many false reasons to keep my deposit ( like stain in a kitchen cloth) like hole in the wall that was already there . Too bad

The check in process was horrible. This is someone’s apartment, not a hotel. The air conditioning was broken and nobody knew what was going on at the front desk. The host is extremely difficult to get a hold of and all contact numbers provided are out of service. I was also charged an extra $300 in additional payments just to check in. I have not received my deposit back either.

Nothing negative to say about the actual suite. Lovely, clean, everything provided that you would need. Great location. My negative comment is about the parking and the management company. We paid in advance for underground parking. When we arrived, the battery for the parking fob was dead. We messaged the rental company and were told essentially too bad, there’s no one on site to help, and to find alternative public parking and that they would refund our money for the parking . It’s FIFA in Toronto, there is ZERO available parking. I drove around 3 hours my first evening trying to find alternative parking. Wasted my entire evening and I have a 4 year old to top it off. Finally decided to try to change the fob battery, wasted another 1.5 hours doing that only to find out it’s not the battery, but the actual fob is dysfunctional. So now I’ve wasted an entire evening, no help from the management company other than to say go find alternative parking. They said they would issue me a refund for the parking… still haven’t received that.

Everything was pretty smooth (check in/out, communications with host). The location was perfect. The apartment was pretty clean, except for the balcony (it was dusty with some spiderwebs). The perfume used on the bed covers was not great. Overall, it was great choice for our first trip to Toronto, especially since it was next to the fanfest location. It's also right next to the trolley stops, so you can travel downtown easily and fast.

How can I express my frustration here??? I couldn’t get into my room because NOBODY share the entry code and even worst NOBODY answered my desperate phone calls when I arrived to the property. I have requested my money refund and I have not get response yet, please help me ASAP!

Absolutely the worst experience! All 3 people who booked with Expedia were all locked outside for over an hour. No communication. No answered phone calls. No help. We missed part of our event. We left and booked elsewhere fearing we were stranded. No response even since! AWFUL! Don’t book!

Location was great and the check-in process was simple. The apartment had some basic maintenance issues including loose door handles, a malfunctioning door latch (strike plate was loose), wifi that did not work, and a warped floor likely damaged from a water leak or overflow from the bathroom. Our son was stuck in the bathroom for about 10 minutes while we figured out how to open the latch. The air conditioning did not work. We were fortunate that the weather in Toronto was pleasant for most of our stay, but it still was uncomfortable in the apartment. There was quite a bit of laundry left in the dryer (towels) and dishes left in the dishwasher (clean) from a prior stay. Our primary complaint is that the property management did nothing to address these issues during our stay and is generally unresponsive. Additionally, instructions for parking were not clear as to which parking space was allocated to our specific flat. We parked in guest parking and did not return to our car for several days as we relied on walking and public transport. Unfortunately, we received two parking tickets for parking on "private property without authorization". Given that I paid for parking in advance, I was unhappy. The front desk security staff informed me that no car was registered to our apartment. The last email I sent to Global Stay requesting reimbursement of my parking fines and noting our displeasure about our stay has gone unaddressed. I'd avoid these folks.

Es horrible el.sistema de checking, mal comunicaciones , no son asequible , los recepcionista solo están ahi como modelos, no pueden ayudarte en nada ni asistirte porque no tienen sistemas de registro son solo guardias para proteger el segundo negocio que operan allí mismo de entrega y recogido de paquetes. El aire acondicionado de baja de 78 grados F . , las alarmas suenan a cada momentos. El ruido que hace el aire no te deja dormir.

The ONLY positive is its location. The first red flag was how difficult it was to get the keys to the apartment. With no one on site to assist you, you have to rely on the lackluster directions and poor communication from the host. Eventually we got into the apartment and upon entering, the apartment was 80°F and was decently clean but there were a few flies flying around (found out why very soon) and some crumbs here and there. First thing we did as we settled in was to turn down the A/C to 65 and then tried to connect to the internet…… well turns out both of those things didn’t work. I emailed and called the contact we had for support and they called the internet provider and ended up forwarding the call to me so I could wait on hold and do all the troubleshooting myself just to finally find out that a technician visit was required to fix the internet issue the next morning. As for the A/C, after an hour of trying to get it to cool down, it was now 81° (so it only got hotter not cooler) so I can only assume the flies were in there from previous tenants opening windows to cool it down. After voicing all of my concerns multiple times via expedia’s messaging, and email, there were no sufficient fixes, we left to stay at the Omni King Edward as opposed to enduring the TERRIBLE service at this place. NEVER STAY HERE!! Oh and I guess they had known about the issues as someone left a bad review THE DAY BEFORE quite similar to this. Oh yeah and the bed wasn’t a king size either.

Property exactly as posted. Great location - walking distance to all major attractions. Good value for the FIFA World Cup Games.

The reviews about the convoluted check-in process are very true. It's very annoying, even when you know to expect it. The unit was perfectly fine and had good amenities except the air conditioning did not work at all and it was 74 degrees and stuffy my whole stay. There is no fan to help either. The wifi also went out on my last day and the cell service in the area is really bad. Decent for a quick stay, if you don't mind it hot and are not desperate for the internet

The apartment was okay, it had everything you need for your stay, but we experienced difficulties to check in, the code to get the key wasn't working, I tried to contact the host, it took at least 35 minutes before they picked up the call and they finally activated the code. The WiFi didn't work during our entire stay, so no internet l, TV, Netflix, etc. We found some garbage in the bedroom. In general it was an okay experience but it could be better.

Very friendly staff, super helpful! Had an amazing stay and will definitely come back next time! Recommend 100%
