How can I express my frustration here??? I couldn’t get into my room because NOBODY share the entry code and even worst NOBODY answered my desperate phone calls when I arrived to the property. I have requested my money refund and I have not get response yet, please help me ASAP!

Absolutely the worst experience! All 3 people who booked with Expedia were all locked outside for over an hour. No communication. No answered phone calls. No help. We missed part of our event.
We left and booked elsewhere fearing we were stranded.
No response even since! AWFUL! Don’t book!

Location was great and the check-in process was simple.
The apartment had some basic maintenance issues including loose door handles, a malfunctioning door latch (strike plate was loose), wifi that did not work, and a warped floor likely damaged from a water leak or overflow from the bathroom. Our son was stuck in the bathroom for about 10 minutes while we figured out how to open the latch. The air conditioning did not work. We were fortunate that the weather in Toronto was pleasant for most of our stay, but it still was uncomfortable in the apartment. There was quite a bit of laundry left in the dryer (towels) and dishes left in the dishwasher (clean) from a prior stay.
Our primary complaint is that the property management did nothing to address these issues during our stay and is generally unresponsive. Additionally, instructions for parking were not clear as to which parking space was allocated to our specific flat. We parked in guest parking and did not return to our car for several days as we relied on walking and public transport. Unfortunately, we received two parking tickets for parking on "private property without authorization". Given that I paid for parking in advance, I was unhappy. The front desk security staff informed me that no car was registered to our apartment. The last email I sent to Global Stay requesting reimbursement of my parking fines and noting our displeasure about our stay has gone unaddressed. I'd avoid these folks.

The ONLY positive is its location. The first red flag was how difficult it was to get the keys to the apartment. With no one on site to assist you, you have to rely on the lackluster directions and poor communication from the host. Eventually we got into the apartment and upon entering, the apartment was 80°F and was decently clean but there were a few flies flying around (found out why very soon) and some crumbs here and there. First thing we did as we settled in was to turn down the A/C to 65 and then tried to connect to the internet…… well turns out both of those things didn’t work. I emailed and called the contact we had for support and they called the internet provider and ended up forwarding the call to me so I could wait on hold and do all the troubleshooting myself just to finally find out that a technician visit was required to fix the internet issue the next morning. As for the A/C, after an hour of trying to get it to cool down, it was now 81° (so it only got hotter not cooler) so I can only assume the flies were in there from previous tenants opening windows to cool it down. After voicing all of my concerns multiple times via expedia’s messaging, and email, there were no sufficient fixes, we left to stay at the Omni King Edward as opposed to enduring the TERRIBLE service at this place. NEVER STAY HERE!! Oh and I guess they had known about the issues as someone left a bad review THE DAY BEFORE quite similar to this. Oh yeah and the bed wasn’t a king size either.

The reviews about the convoluted check-in process are very true.
It's very annoying, even when you know to expect it.
The unit was perfectly fine and had good amenities except the air conditioning did not work at all and it was 74 degrees and stuffy my whole stay. There is no fan to help either.
The wifi also went out on my last day and the cell service in the area is really bad.
Decent for a quick stay, if you don't mind it hot and are not desperate for the internet

The apartment was okay, it had everything you need for your stay, but we experienced difficulties to check in, the code to get the key wasn't working, I tried to contact the host, it took at least 35 minutes before they picked up the call and they finally activated the code.
The WiFi didn't work during our entire stay, so no internet l, TV, Netflix, etc.
We found some garbage in the bedroom.
In general it was an okay experience but it could be better.

My stay at Fort York Suites was extremely disappointing. I traveled to Toronto with a friend for a music festival, and while the location was excellent—within walking distance of the venue, the CN Tower, and Liberty Village—that was the only positive aspect of the experience.
The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. There is no front desk or on-site staff, and international travelers must complete several pre-check-in requirements that were never clearly communicated during booking. As a result, it took us nearly 90 minutes to gain access to our suite.
Once inside, we discovered the air conditioning was not working. Despite being turned on, the room remained around 80°F throughout our stay. I contacted management immediately, but instead of fixing the issue, they simply emailed instructions on how to operate the thermostat. The AC was clearly broken, and no effort was made to resolve it.
The bathtub was also dirty upon arrival. For the price paid, the lack of cleanliness, communication, and customer support was unacceptable.
I also contacted Expedia multiple times seeking assistance and a partial refund. The property management company eventually stopped responding altogether, while Expedia repeatedly advised me to wait for a response that never came. Overall, this was a frustrating experience that I would not recommend.

We did not receive the correct directions for parking our car. The communication was terrible, and when we settled in, we discovered that the sofa bed was broken, the laminate flooring was lifting, and the tap water was hot. The owner did not respond until we escalated the issue to Hotels.com. We didn’t receive a full refund either. We paid for two nights but left after the first night due to safety concerns.
