객실내 슬리퍼가 없어서 불편했어요..화장실에 물건 둘곳이 없어서 불편했어요.

Great Family Room was like having your own apartment. Breakfast was nice, bacon and black pudding were a little over done. Shower could have been warmer. But overall great stay will definitely stay again.

A gem of a hotel for meeting up with friends. A short walk from the railway station and a great position for York centre -a perfect position for our needs! Super friendly staff, lovely room, cosy areas to sit in the bar and delicious food in the restaurant. We shall return!

Nice hotel. Good location. The ‘mood lighting’ meant the room was very dark including the bathroom area that was part of the main room so not great for applying makeup, contact lenses etc.

The rooms were very spacious and clean . Breakfast was superb couldn’t fault it. Location very easy to get to from the train station

We upgraded at reception to a suite and had a nice sized room. Clean but maybe a little dated now. The bed was very comfy though and very quiet. Everything we needed in the room as well. The staff were brilliant and looked after bags etc before and after check in. A really nice stay for our Stendo weekend. Thank you.

Breakfast was lovely

The room was nice a big, clean with excellent facilities. Breakfast was lovely with a big choice. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough. Will definitely be back!!

Room was clean and a good size. The only downside was it was very warm.

The property welcomed pets however, there was no pet kit for the 25 pounds/day we paid. Also, there was zero flexibility for checking in earlier. Amenities partially closed during our stay, or so busy it required reservations. The shower was moldy. We were told the fridge wasn't even a room feature, when we informed them it was not working (weird, because it was plugged in, producing heat outwards). The room we got faced an alley and we got early morning noises and banging of trash bins being emptied out. All in all for such a pricy place, it wasn't really up to standards for us in terms of basic features, cleanliness and quietness.

We did not have time to use the pool or breakfast. The room itself was very dark with the odd spot light, trying to put make up on was very difficult. Bed was nice and big and comfy. The best thing about the hotel is the roof top bar, the views are amazing!

We stayed in the club room D

Nice clean rooms, lovely shower, friendly staff. The food wasn’t great for the breakfasts but not terrible. Great location across the river from the city centre and only 5 minutes walk from the train station.

Hotel design is modern, clean and central to York´s attractions. I stayed for 4 nights, the standard rooms are well equipped, great design, and comfortable. It would´ve been nice to have an alternative to coconut biscuits, a variety of teas and a hot chocolate provided. The housekeeping was different standard everyday, one day the bed wasn’t made or the tea cups cleaned, other days it was very good. I ordered a different cooked breakfast every morning, and honestly wouldn’t want any of them twice. The smoked salmon and ´creamy´ scrambled eggs was a wafer thin slice of salmon with very watery eggs, the Eggs California had puréed grey avocado on a soggy muffin, the soft boiled eggs and soldiers were ok, and on the final day I ordered porridge with berries and honey…the porridge arrived minus the berries and had to ask for them again. When they came it was just 4 raspberries in a pot, and by that time the porridge was cold. The breakfast staff were inconsistent in service. Nearer 10am the staff are clearing tables very loudly and banging and crashing plates and cutlery on the trollies. On one day, a member of staff hovered near our table, wished us a friendly ´have a nice day´ when we got up to leave but then pounced to clear away our table. Service finishes at 10am but that doesn't mean hotel guests have to leave promptly at that time. Sadly the spa was closed for refurbishment so it wasn’t possible to take advantage of the hotel´s usual amenities.

Clean, efficient and great location.

Nice, clean, modern hotel, excellent service. Dinner was particularly nice, I had the fish stew (although the padron peppers were slightly undercooked). Good range of options for breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious but a bit weirdly designed; there was no bathroom, just an individual toilet; the sink felt like it was in the middle of the bedroom and the shower was open to the rest of the room, just the glass door to keep you away from the main room. Not a problem for me as I was by myself, but if I'd been sharing a room with someone it would have definitely been an issue! Also the TV was in a slightly weird position, to the side of the bed, so I got a bit of neck ache when I was watching it.

Staff and food was excellent . We parked in the ncp carpark which is secure and 1 min walk away. Outstanding breakfast and my fillet steak was perfection
