I loved it

We would like to sincerely thank the staff for upgrading us to the Privilege level during our stay. That gesture was greatly appreciated, and we truly felt welcomed by the kindness and professionalism of the employees throughout the resort. That said, the Privilege accommodations are not what we expected. The room felt dated and had a noticeable musty odor that never really went away. Given the premium nature of the upgrade, we had anticipated a fresher, more updated experience. The food was also subpar. Honestly, almost all of the food just felt like it was gelatin based with color and had no real taste. Even the restaurants for example had chicken or beef with some sort of tasteless sauce it was almost as if everything just came from a cheap powder package. We also understand that the resort has no control over the sargassum washing ashore. However, the odor was, almost unbearable and significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the beach and surrounding outdoor areas. We hope the resort will consider updating every room. Our friends Junior Suite we just terrible as well, and continue doing everything possible to minimize the effects of the sargassum when conditions allow. We will not be returning to the Ocean Coral & Turquesa Resort.

We recently stayed at Ocean Coral & Turquesa, and unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. The biggest issue was the overwhelming smell of seaweed on the beach. I don’t really hold that against the resort because it’s a natural occurrence and outside of their control, but it definitely affected our ability to enjoy the beach. The pool experience was disappointing as well. There was food floating in the water on more than one occasion, which made it seem like it wasn’t being monitored or cleaned as often as it should have been. Service around the pool was also very slow because there appeared to be only one waiter covering the entire area. It was difficult to get drinks or order anything without a long wait. The food throughout the resort was average at best. We never had a meal that really stood out, and the overall quality was below what we’ve experienced at other all-inclusive resorts. Entertainment was another letdown. There was very little happening during the day to keep guests engaged, and the evening shows were underwhelming and not very enjoyable. Overall, while the staff we encountered were friendly, the combination of mediocre food, poor pool maintenance, limited service, and lackluster entertainment made this a resort we probably wouldn’t choose to visit again.

Mi experiencia no fue la mejor. Habia una piedra de salgaso en el area de la playa y se notaba que el hotel no habia hecho nada por limpiar el area del salgazo. La piscina estaba bien sucio y el agua mareada blancusca. La comida no era de buena calidad y había falta de personal. No hicieron casi actividades. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien. El hotel lo va a cerrar ahora en agosto, por que lo van a remodelar y sus estándares actuales son mas de un hotel de dos estrellas. Pero te cobran como si todo estuviera bien en el hotel

This hotel was pretty don’t get me wrong. But we went they had seaweed that was rotting. It stunk up the place so bad that people were gagging. Some staff was nice but the people who get you at the front they’re like sharks. Don’t even think about doing excursions anywhere else cause the staff there get weird for even thinking about it. We had this one guy who was trying so hard to give us a discount but at a cost. We had to go to a time share presentation if we wanted the discount. We didn’t do it cause they were acting so off. We were scared to even see that guy trying to sell us the time share presentation the whole time there we had anxiety about him, we were sick from the smell. We will not come back. You also couldn’t even go to the beach since it was filled with sea weed. The all you can eat buffet was mid and when you make reservations to eat that Italian restaurant it’s bad the buffet pasta but in a nicer setting. The only good thing to eat there was the hibachi because you can actually see them make the food. Again we will not be going back and implore people to think before booking with this place.

The staff was so supportive, kind, and understanding!

Unfortunately I do not have a lot of positive thoughts about this experience. First, you should know that you will not be able to even come close to the ocean because of the excessive amount of rotten seaweed on the beach. You will have to pay extra to be able to get to the beach. Staff are not responsive and we spent 4 days with toilet cover broken until it finally got fixed. We were calling about it every day. One day they cleaned the room, took dirty towels and didn’t bring the clean ones - we had to wait for over 30 minutes for them to come with the towels. They didn’t restock the fridge even though they were supposed to do it every day. Food was not great neither… So, basically the only nice and friendly stuff were bartenders. Oh, and please be careful with the marketing stuff who will attack you to sell you the timeshare type of membership. They will promise you a lot, but you will lose bunch of time and get nothing. I won’t come back to this place ever again.

Everything was great except no access to beach due to Seaweed Sargassum in summers, however good thing was Puerto Morales beach was great and is just a 10-15 mins drive. Food was good with something for everyone, the staff is friendly. Overall good value for money. They have enough activities from the resort.

No beach

The specialty restaurants food was very good and we liked it. The kids pool was good and the staff was very kind to us. However, one of the main reason to go to a Cancun All Inclusive is the beach and the beach was basically closed due to the sea weed mountains in the front and the smell was very strong. I think the hotel should provide a notice before to the customer in case that this is a deal breaker not at the time of checkin or at least offer one pass to an excursion included to Isla Mujeres or Conzumel which it was where staff said there is no sea weed. I don't if it was our room but the bathroom water change temperare all the time which was a problem while with a baby. There was a screw on the floor to hold the door which it seems that should have something else on it but it was not fixed and our baby almost put the feet on it. The first day when we arrived the floor was with a lot of dust and we got to the bed we could see all the dust. We call two times to clean the floor and they came after the follow up. The rest of the days the room was clean. This is the first All Inclusive in Cancun that we have been that the stations on the buffet were empty(no staff). For example they did not had someone for the burger area or the tacos even when the station was there and toppings in front but no one was there in any of the 4 days we stay. This is our 4 time in Cancun and this is one of the hotel that I would never come back to for the reason above.

The food was gross. It was difficult to make reservations using their website. I would never go back there. The fajitas looked like cat food. They didn’t respond to my email. Avoid this place. It is not a 5 star hotel

Each year, I plan a family vacation with our family and friends, and this year there were nine of us. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and created many great memories. I also wanted to take a moment to share some feedback about our experience, as I hope it can be helpful. I would like to recognize a few team members who truly made a positive impression: * Our server at the Mexican restaurant (unfortunately, I did not get his name) was outstanding. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and provided the best service we received during our stay. * Lluvia at Kelly’s Playhouse went above and beyond. I had accidentally been looking at the rainy-day activity schedule instead of the regular schedule for bracelet making. Even though it was my mistake, she took the time to help and made it possible for my son to participate. Her kindness meant a lot to us. * Arturo, the bartender, was also very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. I also wanted to share a few concerns: * Erika from Sensai provided very poor customer service. As a lead, I expected a higher level of professionalism and leadership, but unfortunately that was not our experience. * Emmanuel from Guest Services seemed to struggle with handling a difficult situation. While I understand challenging situations arise, I felt he could have been better prepared to resolve the issue. * Isis at the buffet provided poor service during our visit.

We liked the food, all the shows and swimming pools. But little disappointed with the beach did not even get a chance to go near because of the seaweed overall we had fun.

The resort is quite nice, despite the excess seaweed. However the all inclusive food options are of a very poor quality. In fact the Mexican street food from outside is 100 times better. The restaurants have low seating numbers, hence impossible to get any reservations without escalating to guest services. Not a hotel I would revisit!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. Our first family vacation quickly became one problem after another. The beach was unusable due to massive amounts of rotting sargassum, with a strong smell throughout much of the resort for our entire stay. No clean up efforts yet other resorts do have clean up efforts. We were wrongly asked to leave the water park with our daughter and never returned. Guest Services later admitted this should never have happened. We were denied dinner because of the soccer event despite many empty tables. After Guest Services brought us back, we were told it was too late to order and went to bed hungry. Management admitted this should not have happened. Before our dolphin excursion, I was denied breakfast because I was wearing a bikini top despite no written dress code. We were also told there were no bananas for our daughter, only to later see other guests eating them. Management promised food from Blue Moon for resolution and since our daughter couldn't enter, we were to eay ay the buffet and have it delivered there, but it was never delivered. We were also promised a 3 p.m. late checkout, then later told checkout was noon which caused unnecessary confusion. Add poor A/C, cockroaches, and being quoted $5 for a tumbler but charged $27.96 USD, and this was far from the vacation we expected. Thank you to Expedia for providing a fair resolution after the resort failed to do so. Unfortunately, we would not return or recommend this resort.

Great and fast service. Clean room with beautiful view. Staff was amazing. No access to beach as it was full of sea weed. Unpleasant smell and view of beach. Multiple pool options, along with kids pool with no bleach water. Overall experience was nice. Reducing points because of beach and not many food options.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel valued. They even surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more special. Everything was spotless and exceptionally clean, and the entire property was beautiful and well maintained. The ambiance was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I was looking for. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time thanks to the comfortable room and quiet atmosphere. I genuinely loved every second of my stay and can’t wait to come back. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and memorable experience. Five stars all the way!
