Pool was good

Good resort, friendly staff, great beach, good food. Bad restaurant reservation system! Within 1 minute every morning at 10 am they are all booked. But the restaurants are half full… and not enough pool and beach chairs. If you don’t reserve chairs by 8:30, you are out of luck for the day.

The attention from the staff, especially Elizabeth (Butler) and Vitalano (Bar and Server at the Privilege Lounge) were outstanding. Elizabeth was super-attentive from the minute I checked into the resort, and made sure that all requests, such as reservations, were met promptly. As my transportation to return to the airport was late in the afternoon, she offered a late checkout without asking. That gave me an extra few hours to enjoy the beach and the resort. Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated! Vitalano's smile, greetings and recollection of my preferences made my time at the Privilege Lounge extra special. During a vacation, where I was looking for relaxation, he knew exactly the right way to provide that with a smile during my many visits there. Beyond the tireless services of many staff members, the resort overall was beautifully maintained -- always clean and being kept that way. The accommodations and meals were of good quality, and the El Beso section (adults only) was perfect for relaxation, with more activities for families at the other sections of the resort. I had opted to stay and relax in the El Beso section, and the only complaint that I had was that I did not book a longer vacation! This was my second visit there, and I would certainly like to return for more.

Everything went well overall. The staff was great, the room was nice and clean, and the night shows were enjoyable. There are plenty of restaurants, but many of them are only open on certain days, which was a bit limiting. The beach volleyball area is quite small and was damaged by the high tide. I also kept finding small plastic bags and bottle caps floating in the water, so it would be good if someone cleaned the area more regularly.

The hotel rooms were spacious and clean, but some of the facilities (such as the bathroom sink, shower, and bathtub) felt quite old and outdated. The buffet food was tasty, and overall the staff were very polite and kind, with good customer service. The pool bar was excellent, and the nightly entertainment and activities were fun and well organized. The only negative experience I had was at the Blue Moon restaurant, where the staff were not attentive. I waited about 50 minutes for an appetizer and eventually left without having dinner.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful; the room was very nicely kept up.

Basically everything, the hotel was not clean, raccoon and cats everywhere in inside the hotel and outside eating from the garbage and we see them in the top of tables and bars, and then my husband’s the first day was in the pool and his feet get cut from something sharp from the floor of the pool and they didn’t take care of us very well sent us to hospital and they want us to pay out of pocket 2500 for simple simple stitches on his feet because he had cut, and we didn’t end up having any stitches because the hotel won’t cover anything, they didn’t even want to pay the taxi that they take us to the hospital and bring us back to the hotel after I argue with them. They end up paying back whatever we pay for the taxi guy. I don’t like there is no communication between the employee, no one knows what’s going on, even with the restaurant, they do have only one open buffet that you can go there and then the other one you have to reserve it that was very very, very stupid. Never going there again. I don’t recommend it to anyone to go there.

Has bed bugs, among a lot of other bug issues. Had multiple conversations with guest services, who just offered to deep clean the room and tried to say there were no bed bugs bc they didn't find any. However, I have picutres that say otherwise. They never apologized, and never made it right, and never owned up for their poor service over the issues. Also did not honor the $50 resort credit booking with expedia as it said in my reservation. My full review can be found in Google, since this only allows for a small amount to be posted. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Pool was ok

Pool and the Spa were very enjoyable.

I like the adults only pool. Having a place to relax without children being children is lovely. The staff was excellent. The grounds and beach were kept beautifully. We were there when seaweed isn't as bad though, so I can't really address that issue.

Gustavo and Alejandro are the best at the pool bar

Everything and everyone was amazing. This was my 4th time at the resort. I hate leaving every time!! I also leave a few pounds heavier…..only caise the food is amazing.
