- About Insurance -

Large insurance compensation system (compulsory insurance, included in the rental price).
In the event of an accident, the store will compensate within the following compensation limits. If there is damage that cannot be claimed for insurance or compensation, or if the damage exceeds the compensation limit, the cost will be borne by the customer.
1. Unlimited compensation for people (including automobile damage liability insurance of 30 million yen) / per person 2. Unlimited compensation for property (customers must pay a 50,000 yen exemption) / per accident 3. Vehicle compensation The estimated value of the vehicle (customers must pay a 50,000 yen exemption, but small buses and first-class trucks are 100,000 yen) / per accident 4. Compensation for personal injury If an accident occurs while riding in a rental vehicle and physical injuries (death, irreparable sequelae, etc.) occur, the store will compensate, with a maximum compensation limit of 3,000 10,000 yen (per person)

Compensation for personal injury, compensation for property, and compensation for personal injury are all paid according to the standards set by the contracted insurance company.

Regarding vehicle compensation, compensation will be made based on the above contents. Towing costs are not covered.

Liability compensation (included in the rental fee)
In the event of an accident, you will not be required to bear the exemption amount for compensation for property or vehicle, except for accidents where the police or the store are not notified, accidents where insurance or compensation cannot be applied, accidents caused by violation of the rental agreement, and accidents caused by unauthorized extension of the rental period.
* You still need to pay the NOC fee (see below).

Business loss compensation NOC (not included in insurance)
If the store is unable to rent out the vehicle due to an accident, vehicle theft, a breakdown attributable to the renter or driver, vehicle damage, odor, etc., the following fees will be charged as compensation for the loss during the vehicle repair period.
The amount of compensation to be paid when the following situations occur:
1. When the vehicle is returned to the store successfully: 20,000 yen 2. Other than the above: 50,000 yen (vehicle towing fee is calculated separately and is paid by the customer)
＊Even if you participate in the exemption compensation system, you will still need to pay business loss compensation if you do not participate in the peace of mind program (see below).
＊If you join the peace of mind plan, you will be exempted from the cost of compensation for business losses even if they occur.

When an accident occurs and business losses are incurred and NOC fees are required, you can waive NOC fees by joining the Peace of Mind Program. (Vehicle towing fee is calculated separately and paid by the customer)

The insurance will not pay any claim in the following situations:
1. No police report (no accident certificate from the police)
2. Accidents caused by driving without a driver's license, driving under the influence of drugs, or driving under the influence of alcohol 3. Accidents caused by drivers who do not submit their driver's license 4. Damage or stain to the vehicle's internal and external equipment not caused by the vehicle accident 5. The ETC card fee is only the card rental fee. The actual highway toll will be settled in cash when returning the vehicle. Please be advised.

For additional self-paid items, please confirm and pay the fees when renting a car.

If you cancel the rental car without prior notice, it will be regarded as a Noshow and a 20% fee will be charged. Please be aware.

When you arrive at the airport, please call +81-0123-24-2525 to inform us that you require airport transfer.

It is strictly prohibited to return the vehicle overtime. If you are unable to return the vehicle on time, please call us first to inform us. When returning the vehicle, an overtime return fee will be charged based on the overtime time. The fee will be calculated by the on-site staff.

Pickup and return are limited to the same store. You cannot rent a car in one place and return it in another place. Please be aware.
