The Dodam Three Peaks rise from the clear green waters of the Namhan River, featuring the majestic General Peak (Husband Peak) at the center. To the left stands Concubine Peak (Daughter Peak) with a posture resembling Ana, while on the right sits Concubine Peak (Son Peak) with her back turned. Legend has it that Jeong Do-jeon, the founding hero of Joseon, roamed here during his youth and adopted the name "Sambong." The positioning of the peaks reflects a tale of marital discord, as the wife, upset by her husband's concubine, turned away in resentment. As one gazes upon them, the appropriateness of these peaks' appearance and description becomes increasingly apparent, leaving one in awe of our ancestors' wisdom and imagination. Jiangjun Peak boasts the hexagonal Mishima Pavilion, where the early Neo-Confucian master Tuegye penned a poem praising the beauty of the three peaks. Near the Daotan Three Peaks, a musical fountain was constructed in 1998, providing a delightful spot for tourists to relax and enjoy. Every evening, the fountains dance to the rhythm of music, infusing the place with a romantic ambiance.
The Mancheonha Sky Walk, completed in 2017, stands at an altitude of 120 meters above the Namhan River and features a 360-degree circular trail. Here, you can revel in the stunning vistas of renowned Korean mountains like Sobaeksan Mountain and Wolaksan Mountain. Upon reaching the summit, a panoramic view of the Namhan River awaits, enhanced by the transparent observation deck, offering breathtaking scenery. Moreover, there are exhilarating ecological facilities, including high-altitude zip lines and alpine speed cars, providing an adrenaline-pumping experience.
The observatory's exterior features a design inspired by a three-legged bird, and the skywalk consists of three layers of high-strength, transparent tempered glass, creating an exhilarating sensation for visitors. Stroll along the more than 600-meter-long spiral promenade to enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the famous Baekdudaegan mountains, such as Sobaeksan Mountain and Owolsan Mountain. Near the observatory, a zipline facility adds to the excitement, comprising a first line (total length of 680 meters) starting from Wanhe Qianfeng to the transfer site and a second line running from the transfer site to the parking lot (total length of 300 meters).
