Mao'ao Fishing Port Passing by the coastal highway, there is a small and ancient fishing village that is easy to be overlooked. Although it seems inconspicuous, its traditional fishing village style is worth stopping and savoring. The most distinctive "stone houses" in the fishing village are the best examples of using local materials. Sandstone, bamboo or thatch are all elements of building houses. In the early days, when villagers built stone houses, they helped each other to complete them. Due to the unique bay terrain, the sea area here is diverse in form and rich in marine biological resources, which is suitable for the growth of nine-hole, lobster, agar and various marine life.
