Elevate your culinary skills at Qingmai Chufang (Chiang Mai Kitchen), which specializes in offering high-quality Mandarin-speaking only Thai cooking courses in Chiang Mai. Experience the art of Thai cuisine in one of the three kitchens, accommodating 34–38 customers simultaneously.

Nestled amidst trees, this beautiful location seamlessly blends rural charm with urban convenience. Complete with a vegetable garden, the surroundings provide a tranquil atmosphere for your culinary journey.

Choose between the air-conditioned dining room or outdoor tables as you are guided by well-trained Mandarin-speaking instructors to ensure you receive an unparalleled and immersive culinary experience.

This cooking class is ONLY conducted in Mandarin

Sessions: 2:30 pm–7:30 pm

If the class has fewer than 4 people, the school has the right to cancel the booking

Pick-up time: Please wait in the hotel lobby 5-10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. The driver will wait no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time

Pick-up point: Hotels in the old city, Nimmandhaemin Road, Maya, Sirimongkrajan Road, Wat Ket Road, Santitham, Chang Pheuk, Changklan, Changmoi, Thapae, Chiangmai Gate and Huay Keaw road from Kad Suan Keaw till Maya

There are extra charges for hotels outside of the area mentioned. Please contact the Galangal Cooking Studio for the fee or more information

You can arrange your transportation by Grab, Bolt, or Drive-In application to come directly to the cooking studio if you want

Food menu (eat at the school)
- Thai tea
- Street noodle

Take Away Food (lunch box)
- Mango sticky rice
- Stir-fried Indian curry with shrimp
- Fresh spring rolls

— Schedule —

2:30 pm–3:00 pm. Pick-up time

3:00 pm–3:30 pm. Local market tour

4:00 pm: Class starts

4:00 pm–5:00 pm. Learn to make Thai tea and street noodles, followed by a savory feast of noodles (15–30 minutes)

5:00 pm–6:00 pm. Learn to make fresh spring rolls, Indian curry shrimp, and mango sticky rice. Then, pack your delicious food to take with you

5:50 pm: Participants are blessed and sprinkled with holy water by a monk

6:30 pm: River Cruise (45–60 minutes)
- During the cruise, staff will provide a historical overview of Chiang Mai and the Mae Ping River

7:30 pm: Return to your hotel

Enjoy convenient pick-up services for hotels within 2 km of Chiang Mai Old City
