The procedure for obtaining a U.S. visa under B-2 category includes, but is not limited to, tourism and vacationing in the United States; visiting various cities in the U.S.; visiting friends or family; participating in social events organized by different organizations; coming to the U.S. for medical treatment; participating in events or competitions related to music or sports, for which you will not receive compensation/payment; and participating in short-term courses for which you will not receive academic credit (such as cooking classes).
