Hoa Lu, situated in Vietnam's Ninh Binh province, served as the ancient capital during the 10th and 11th centuries. This area is famed for its historical significance and striking natural landscapes. Today, Hoa Lu is a popular tourist destination displaying the vestiges of the ancient citadel and temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties.
Embark on a guided tour of the ancient citadel before venturing to Tam Coc, where you'll explore its caves by boat and marvel at the surrounding limestone mountains. Next, visit Hang Mua (Mua Cave) and climb 500 steps to the top for captivating scenic views.
