City Centre Budget Hotel

Good service, clean room, comfortable bed, warm shower, all my needs attended to.

The room is okay; however, I found that the tables were dusty, which I needed to clean. Also noticed some mould on the window area.

The biggest problem was the two flights of stairs to climb with a suitcase.It is not mention in the advertisament.I stayed one week and although I did not expect sservice every day I don't think replenishing my tea bags would not be offered. Bed was fantastic

All Amenities should be cleaned each day. Carpets on the stairs not vacuumed. Room was average, the sheets were clean and bed comfortable. Just a little care with cleanliness would have made me feel more relaxed.

Things weren’t cleaned properly before we moved in, the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The staff were nice and bathrooms were ok, it is what you would expect for a cheap place in the city.

Conveniently located. Allowed early check in & late check out.

I have stayed here many times over the years on short trips to Melbourne - it is great for its central location, accessible to so many of Melbourne's best sites and attractions. Be aware the rooms are tiny - fine if you are out and about, and don't expect to do much beyond sleep in your room. However, unfortunately, the whole place is very tired and needs a thorough clean. As soon as you enter the premises and see the grot on the stairs, it gives you a taste of what is to come. Our room had clean sheets, but everything else was dusty and dirty. The bathroom facilities also needed a thorough clean also, and basic attention to things like broken soap dispensers.

Good budget accomodation in a prime spot.

The property is basically clean. Not much to look at. Basically a safe area.

We need to remember this is a budget hotel, so dont expect much. Rooms are quite small but comes with a jug. Double window which did a good job keeping street noises out. Good heater, tv. Good shower and loo just down the hallway. Small kitchen up stairs. If you are budget focused, definitely recommend. Good location and secure.
