Decent hotel in a nice quiet area of the city. Hotel front and reception area is lovely, staff were friendly and helpful throughout stay. Unfortunately our room was very small and had hardly any storage, not good for a couple travelling with suitcases. The hotel seems more suited to business trips for one or two nights.

Absolutely horrendous management, so much so that it’s obvious it does not care if people return to the hotel or provide negative feedback or reviews. The hotel did not have power and the only thing the hotel did to address the problem was pass out flashlights. I’m not exaggerating. There are way too many other hotels in Sydney that would be happy to have your business, than for you to take a chance on this place.

Overall, the accommodation was good.
The listing said blackout drapes/curtains, which wasn’t the case at all. Bright light shone through the blinds and sheer curtain. Can’t claim it’s blackout when the blinds don’t completely close and when the lights are off you can still see everything in the room. Also didn’t have a rainfall showerhead as stated.

We enjoyed our stay - the photos when booking were a little deceiving. The hotel was quaint, clean in a quiet location. Our room was a good size, except the bathroom, which was long and narrow - understandable given the heritage of the building, but we had a different impression when booking. We were not in the room all that much, and so not a deal breaker.

My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress

Second stay here, this time two of us so selected what looked like the bigger room. Was same size but no wardrobe just a hanger so a bit tight for two of us. The guy at the desk said all rooms are the same size, wasnt interested in my enquiry!
