Mantra on Russell Melbourne

Wonderful

No house keeping for 6 days and was advertised as daily when I booked and nothing to clean the toilet, not even a toilet brush or fresh towels was extremely disappointing for the cost of the stay. Leaking toilet constantly and reported it and was told maintenance would fix it the next day but instead a receptionist male came into my room with his own key and I was appalled. My travel partner was in the shower and I was in the lounge luckily decent and he insisted on looking at the leaking toilet and proceeded to come into the unit and I stopped him and said no it’s being used and asked if he could wait and I said no you can come back please. Very creepy and very rude. Why wouldn’t you call the room first to ask before entering the room? The shower took several minutes of wasted water to achieve a safe water temperature. I got burnt numerous times and so did my travel partner. The leaking toilet never got fixed. We had to keep turning the tap off. We paid a lot of money to stay at the hotel so I would have expected more and house keeping and a working toilet and a view at minimum. Very very disappointing. I have a video of the noisy leaking toilet. Can’t attach it here unfortunately….

Room was good, however the bed was average. Good value for money. Don't understand why the public areas were so cold. Air conditioning made this uncomfortable.

Great find for our 5 day stay in Melbourne. We had 1 bed apartment with everything we needed Staff were friendly and professional.

Room was nice and clean. It was a shame that the Bar wasnt open on a Saturday night or the restaurant.

One of the better room setups and bed was very comfy compared to other hotels we've stayed at recently in Melbourne. Aircon was nice and quiet to use and have on at night, otherwise the room got quite warm. Buffet breakfast was definitely not worth the extra payment, very overpriced for what is on offer.

Be careful you get your dates right - approaching the motel only minutes after a wrong entry and you are dommed to lose with no changes possible

The carparking was very easy and you were able to take the lift in the carpark straight to reception . The suite was roomy and quite . The hotel was walking distance to all the places we wished to go. The dining options were plentiful.
