Very pleasant visit. Very friendly welcome, changed us to a ground floor room and moved a more spry booking upstairs when she saw I was somewhat elderly and lame. I didn't ask but was most grateful. Very comfortable bed, nicely appointed and pleasantly warm room, even a facewasher each in the bathroom, a rare occurrence. Discovered my nephew from Texas stays here when visiting family, really likes the place.

Cozy compact room with a no nonsense bathroom thats small basic and warm. Heater is real warm even in the middle of winter. Showers a bit basic and you cant adjust the water stream and its a juggle to get the temp just right with the taps. Pressure also low more like standing a drip stream rather than a real shower. Parking is secure and safe and takes a bit of understanding to operate the automatic gate. Food is expensive in the all you can eat buffet even with the stay in discount, prefer to buy cheaper else where and bring the food to eat in the room. But the main thing is the room is clean and odour free ! Warm and comfortable. Out of 3 cheap hotels/motels Ferntree Gully is the best for me. Will always book the same room when I stay again.

Requested toaster didn’t arrive only got one day before I left after 4 nights, not a single plate, knife or fork had to butter my toast with the end of the teaspoon. Air conditioner made awful annoying noise so I couldn’t use it.

Beds with wheels- if going to have wheels can places make sure they’re going to stay still not slide around each time you turned over.
Toilet had some weird gross stuff in it when we got there white foamy. There was a musky Damo smell in the bathroom.
Room 4 dead lock bit on the door doesnt turn either.
Besides that was good.

Very nice friendly staff on book in. The parking is behind locked gates, so perfect and secure. All covered by security cameras, The room was perfect, good comfortable bed, plenty of room. Biggest issue was someone honking the horn of there car intermittently at 2 am in the morning, for about 20 minutes...and it sounded like it was close to outside our room.

DANGEROUS HEALTH HAZARD: Parasite Risk, Filth, unpleasant.
Stayed 3 times for work, but never again. This hotel is a severe health and safety nightmare.
Health & Water: The water quality is appalling. After using the tap on my last day, I suffered a violent gastrointestinal reaction. The shower water is so harsh it "burnt" my skin barrier. The room provided a rusty, broken kettle, forcing me to use my own spring water until it ran out.
Safety & Hygiene: Every stay involved cockroaches and thick dust. The environment feels unsafe; a window was smashed during my stay, and the clientele is often "shady." As a solo woman, I felt completely vulnerable.
Management & Service: "Tegan" was dismissive and unpleasant. I requested a ground-floor room days in advance for a project involving heavy lifting from my van. Despite being the first to check in, I was ignored and given a top-floor room on the loudest side, while later arrivals, including a younger man in foot with a backpack - got ground-floor spots. This negligence & lack of compassion caused me severe physical strain and body damage.
Environment: The property is trashed with cigarette butts. Staff sprayed weed killer directly behind me without warning; he wore a mask while I was forced to inhale fumes. Road noise is deafening 24/7. With no fly screens, you must choose between a room full of bugs or stifling aircon.
Avoid at all costs. This is a genuine health risk and an out-of-pocket disaster. I will be taking further action.

Room is good but not cleaned properly. Compound looks unkept w/ plant path in front of rooms bare. Very easy parking and safe though and close to restaurants. Overall for quick stop it’s good.😊
