The palm beach motel was excellent. If you arrive at night and the front door is locked just go into the pub and the staff with organise your check - in . The air - conditioning was excellent, the rooms were clean and the common shower and toilet area was modern and clean . There are mini fridges in most of the rooms ( if you need one if these just call and confirm that your room will have one prior to checking in ) . There is also a large fridge in the common area for patrons to use, along with microwave, kettle , tea , coffee , sugar and cups . Just bring your own milk and you can make tea and coffee for free any time . I felt safe as I saw a security guard walking around a few times over the course of my 2 night stay . The motel was great value for money - I'll be back !

It was clean and the room had a TV, sink and they even provided a bathmat for the shared shower facilities. The best hotel on the southern GC.

I stayed in an Economy Single with Shared Bathroom
Positives: good value for money. Bed was comfortable enough. Shared bathroom facilities recently renovated.
Negatives: it is above a pub. 2 of the 3 nights I stayed there I was woken up at 5am by a drunk man vomiting loudly outside, in the hallway and in the bathroom opposite my room door. The rooms have no soundproofing and hearing this in the mornings made me feel sick.

Amazing location, 5 minutes from an outstanding beach. Bed was ok, but I was confy. The guests need to remember to not slam doors when trying to sleep or in middle of the night!!
Whilst it was located near to the main highway, this wasn't an issue unless a lorry thundered past.
The Gold coast is epic!

Great location, super friendly staff, and overall very convenient for a short stay.
Room doesn’t have a window you can open so it does get stuffy after a few days. Having shared bathrooms is a bit inconvenient at times but the facilities are clean and well taken care of.
Arrived a bit earlier before check-in but they offered to store my bags for me. Also had some mail delivered to the hotel which didn’t arrive on time and the staff kindly took note of it to notify me later on when it arrives.

It was right on the money though each room could have done with a kettle and 2 cups with spoons. We have stayed at the Ibis and it is about the same size room with a bathroom and a small fridge and kettle with 2 cups

Pleasantly surprised with hotel. Very nice showers. Literally a stones throw from the beach and right next to a Coles. Also near lots of coffee shops and eateries.
Very appreciated in me letting store bags for a few hours prior to checking and also once checking out.
