We had to wait an hour and a half for a bucket of ice and a plate so we could have some drinks and snacks. When we arrived back to the hotel late, the toilet door came off the hinges and my friend had to hold it. We were offered to pack up and move rooms but as we were in PJs and already in bed we decided not to go through the hassle. We did get the room service and parking refunded.

We booked a suite but the first night we were allocated a suite that was very noisy plumbing sound every time people upstairs turn on their taps. We had to relocate to a different smaller room that night and hotel then relocated us to another suite the next day. Westin should fix that plumbing problem before they sell the room to clients.

Some small issue in my room. Left tap on the basin leak from the top. Shower tap is loose and can’t adjust the temperature using the lever. Shower floor has a design flaw where water flows out. And yeah, we could take care of younger Westin consumer with Netflix and YouTube login. The physical newspaper reading boomers with generous corporate accounts are dying off. It’s overpaid freelance programmers and fintech bros being the near future. Service for small ice bucket can run from 20-40mins which out of norm even for short staffed hotel which is the norm in developed nation. Other than that, all customer facing staff are very capable and friendly when handling queries. Garum the main restaurant of the hotel serves great breakfast and brings you to the table quickly with a smile.

Noisy cupboard doors. No handle on toilet door. Poor room layout. Main problem as check in. Room was not delivered by 4.15 PM because receptionist could not contact the maid by phone to establish if the room was ready. Only when I remonstrated did we get room access, as receptionist "wanted to complete booking of another guest, when we had waited so long. WE needed access with our bags in order to dress for a formalfuntion close by.

I loved it. Very well located. Quiet, super clean and comfortable. Very spacious. The staff was very nice, specially Sarah in the lobby restaurant. Would definitely go back and certainly recommend it. Fantastic breakfast!

Fantastic stay in CBD close to lots of activities you can walk to. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The deluxe double rooms are spacious and modern. So not miss the delicious breakfast buffet with lots of choices.
