Too much confusion for me. Firstly they stuffed my room up. They had moved me and resold my room - provided me with a couple of classic boomer lies. ‘Didn’t want you to be near kids, upstairs is better than downstairs’ etc. Now I had a room with two extra beds that I couldn’t use and no where comfortable to sit. I made a complaint via the check in process. This got fundamentally ignored. I got a ‘don’t reply’ message to go to office to speak to Janet the following day. Janet flatly denied sending me this text when I went there. Looked at me colder than a Tasmanian mother-in-law and couldn’t shuffle me off quick enough even though I told her my name and mentioned the text. When I got back to my room I received another nuisance text to go check-in although I had already stayed one night. Later that night I received another text. By this stage I was quite over this booking mistake. In short there are plenty of nice places to stay in Bowen, avoid the hassle and confusion of this place. I didn’t get what I had booked and picked up a few headaches along the way. Rose Bay does look nicer.

This is a great place to stay. the beaches are beautiful, the staff are welcoming, very helpful and always responsive. the rooms are spacious and have amazing views.

We recently stayed at Whitsunday Resort and loved its fantastic location. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the beach, which made our stay feel extra special. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great after long day of driving from Port Douglas. The room was well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay. The only downside was the WiFi, which wasn’t very strong, but this was a minor issue overall. With its amazing position and comfortable rooms, we would happily stay here again.

I arrived a bit early and the staff were only too happy to let me check in. Explained the area well, and the views from my room were brilliant. Will defiantly stay there again

The owner Janet was absolutely beautiful inside and out saved our camping trip as it was meant to rain so so glad we last minute booked here we will be back!!

Check in easy. Staff welcoming. Sadly room was very average. It was an extremely hot and humid day and our room was like an oven, as the air conditioning had not been turned on. Took a while to get the air con going and a few hours at the beach for the room to be cool enough to re-enter. . Our room had some refurbishments (kitchen, flooring, shower), though it was still disappointing. Small table was very dated and we didn’t sit on the lounge without a blanket covering it, as it looked dirty. The dividing wall between the kitchen/lounge area and bedroom was horrible. It’s also the first thing you see when entering and along with the hot room was not a pleasant first impression. If the furniture had been updated to match the refurbishment and the awful dividing wall was replaced (even with a curtain), it would have been a dream stay. The pool was really tired and desperately needed updating. Location was great for the beach but shouldn’t be relied on for someone to enjoy their stay. Wifi was poor but that can only be blamed on the telco. We hope to get back in the next year or so and find all refurbishments fully completed.
