Great location for exploring the region. Regular speedy train links to Bruges and Ghent. Great accommodation, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and your host provides a friendly welcome and a superb breakfast too. Recommended

Sehr liebevoll geführtes B&B in familiärer Atmosphäre. Überaus freundlicher Empfang und viele Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war genial! Sehr außergewöhnliches und sehr lecker!

Notre sejour était parfait, la chambre Chocolat est luxueuse . Un petit déjeuner de roi. Je recommande à du 100%.

We chose to stay because of the electric car charging but we were delighted with every aspect of our accommodation

We had a wonderful stay here for two nights. The host was more than accommodating and really helpful. Rooms: we stayed in Chocolat which is quite private and on the side. Own private entrance. It has dual aspect windows looking out over the fields. Huge bathroom with jet tub and large shower. Nice amenties and well thought out. Coffee machine and kettle which is so helpful. Honesty mini bar in small fridge. TV has both Netflix and Prime on it so easy to get your own entertainment. WiFi is strong and reliable. Bed is huge, really comfortable and we slept so well as its silent here. Breakfast: a basket of bread and croissants awaits you as you sit with different gorgeous jams and butter. Your hot drink of choice is made, lovely apple and pear juice is served to the table and water on the side table. A different selection each day of cakes and local pastries is offered. Eggs made to order and extra hot drinks on request. The breakfast room is very nicely decorated and the owner is very attentive. Location: is about 5 mins away from the main highway, 20 mins from Bruges and 30 mins from Ghent. It's in the middle of nowhere amongst farmyards. Very peaceful and quiet. Parking for about 8 vehicles. Only small things to consider, a spoon for hot drinks in the room (or wooden stirrers if you don't want to wash up) a price list for the minibar so you know what you are buying, we weren't sure if the water was included or not? Overall we had a lovely time, thank you.

This is an amazing place to stay, very clean, great communication with the host, close to Brugge, would stay here again!

Ich verbrachte eine Nacht da auf einer Geschäftsreise. Einmalige, schlichtweg fantastische Unterkunft, geführt von perfekter und extrem herzlicher Gastgeberin. Es ist unmöglich irgend etwas zu bemängeln. Jederzeit wieder!

Le cadre est magnifique. La maison sobre et classe. Le petit déjeuner extraordinaire tout en étant simple. Des gens agréables. Leur site est très bien aussi.

Exceptional place that offers a unique quality and service. The room I stayed accommodates 4 people offering a double bed in a separate room, and 2 single beds. There is also a secluded balcony for late evening drinks or early morning coffee in a private setting. All the furnishings were of high quality in and outside of the room, and I can say the owner has great taste. General service and communications were great and the owner always tried to accommodate the needs at best to make sure your stay was like at home.

Wir durften in Het Soetewater eine grossartige Woche verbringen. Unser Zimmer war im oberen Stock, sehr geräumig und sauber mit grossem Balkon. Die ruhige Atmosphäre und die freundliche Gastgeberin Veronique haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühl haben. Besonders das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight. Vom B&B aus ist man mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit in Brügge, Gent oder am Strand. Auch eine Fahrradtour können wir empfehlen, die Fahrräder kann man bei Veronique mieten. Wir können einen Aufenthalt im Het Soetewater wärmstens empfehlen!
