Ramada Belize City Princess Hotel

Pool was out of service. Bar closed early

Swimming pool was closed, and the overall appearance of the hotel at the exterior and the rooms were really outdated, the main entrance gives you a bad impression at the beginning, I believe the best times for this hotel were over.

Hello The Staff in this Hotel that I interacted with like Martin,Raymond etc were good.The Breakfast was decent as for The Rooms including The real Old School Windows furniture,small TV & bathroom they're really beginning to show their age like 1970's/80's.The Hotel is refurbishing The Swimming Pool well I maybe suggest they think about making The Hotel Rooms making this the next Area they need to address.I'll state this after my move to The Golden Tree I was in a Hotel Room that was only a 150 Square foot but it's decor compared to Room 416 at The Ramada Princess was easily better more Modern,tidy,comfortable it had nice Leather Chairs,a Dining/work desk with a really good Office Chair,A Electronic Digital Safe that reliably worked not sporadically,A 43 Inch Smart TV that had Movie Channels + a small Jacuzzi in The Bathroom.So as far as I'm concerned this is what I'd like & let's not forget this is a niche Budget Hotel not a big Resort Chain like Ramada Wyndham are.So if The Golden Tree Hotel I think made the correct decision to address improve & modernize all their Rooms Suites I'd suggest your Hotel & Casino should maybe do likewise.As for our difference of opinion over The Swimming Pool I'll say this when I go to use Expedia I expect whatever Amenity is listed by a Property then I expect when I book it that I don't get a message back after the fact to tell me it's not actually available.The info any Resort displays on Trivago,Expedia should be 100% correct..no excuses !

What I liked: Staff were nice and helpful during our 7-night stay Room was clean AC worked well and kept the room cool Breakfast was good and convenient, even though it was pretty much the same every day with limited variety Location was acceptable for getting around What I didn’t like: Room was clean but felt run down and dated Hot water took several minutes of running the tap before it came through AC was very noisy and disrupted sleep Pool has been “under construction” for a long time, but there’s no sign work has actually started Loud music stage with big speakers and flashing lights right next to the hotel — very disturbing at night Only 1 x 500ml bottle of water provided per person per day and no drinking water dispenser. When I asked, front desk suggested buying more from the bar. Water is a basic need and should not be rationed at a hotel at this level The bottom line: For the price and Ramada brand, I expected better. Between the noise issues, the water situation, and the run-down facilities, I don’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning. Trip type: Couple, 7 nights Would not recommend to a friend

The pool was closed and under renovation. the restaurant served me hot beer with a mug of ice and I still have to pay for it. The bodywash in our room was watered down couldn’t use that. and the breakfast was cold.

I had planned to spend some time by the pool only to learn it was closed. Everything else was good. the website shows a nice picture of the pool and lists the pool as one of the amenities.

Property needs some updating. Staff real friendly. No bugs. Smoke detector light kept flashing every hour or so, at 1st thought it was lightning. Breakfast cold no warming elements. Quiet. Nice view on the seaside. For the cheaper price I would probably stay again,

La tarifa incluyó el desayuno buffet, eso fue bueno , este fue variado, Como oportunidad de mejora, en el área del restaurante hacía mucho calor y no se sentía el aire acondicionado en ese espacio. Las habitaciones fueron muy cómodas, amplias y con excelente vista.

The people were great, the hotel was bad.

I have an allergy which I informed the hotel of prior to eating, they assured me they took necessary precautions but unfortunately I was sick after. The pool was closed, with a bunch of trash laying beside. The room was extremely outdated and unclean. We would not recommend, no matter what discount they are offering.

Wonderful staff in all departments and clean facilities! Very nice free breakfast with reasonable purchase options. What brings it down is the lack of coffee pot and microwave in the room, the stingy and often threadbare towels and the very long wait for hot water in the shower (we were on the 5th floor). Great elevator system- fast smooth and quiet. Cudos to Sayda (consierge) and Sylvan (restaurant) for their outstanding service and friendly attitude during our week long stay.

The rooms had an AC but the drapes covered it up when you tried making the room dark causing it to be hot anyways

It was a last minutes booking and my girlfriend and I did not regret it. Would definitely recommend them again.

Nice view of the ocean. Had fun at the casino. Breakfast buffet was yummy!

The restaurant and bar were terrible. We had a great server and sh was apologetic for the standards.

pool was not working, hot water was not working, they promise 2 drinks because of the hot water situation, we went to the bar, and they say that they couldn't give us the drinks.

Hotel muy antiguo y poco cuidado.

El Ramada Hotel se quedó en el pasado, sus instalaciones antiguas sin buen mantenimiento, la piscina cerrada y el lugar donde está es sucio y abandonado. En general el precio es elevado para la calidad del servicio y calidad del edificio. También el desayuno es bueno pero no lo suficiente para un cuatro o cinco estrellas, como mucho es de dos estrellas.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in my life NEVER AGAIN .., I would never recommend no one to stay at this hotel
