Miramar by Windsor Copacabana

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Staff went above and beyond and offered top quality service.

Our family of 3 had a great experience at the Miramar. The staff and service was excellent, I'd like to call out Claudiano from the breakfast restaurant and the pool area who was above and beyond, always smiling and friendly, working hard as we have seen him every day. The hotel may need to do some renovation and have a way to air out the swimsuits. We appreciated the breakfast buffet, the beach towel plus umbrella and chair service. That has helped out a lot especially during the busy days. The area is conveniently located to find anything you'd want. The staff accommodated us when we arrived early for check-in, and stored our luggage after check out. Excellent experience and highly recommend it.

We stayed here for a Family Christmas Holiday vacation (visiting from the United States) and had an incredible stay -- the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and even spoke great English which was really helpful for us giving us clear recommendations for safety (like walking on the beach side/promenade), food recommendations, or any questions we had that came up the staff was quick to help and so kind. The food was amazing, and the location was perfect, being right outside the beach -- having the umbrellas and chairs for free was a plus. We did get to the beach too late (around noon) one day, and they were out of umbrellas/chairs so I definitely recommend getting out earlier! We were able to enjoy the pool this day but felt like that tip would be helpful for others who visit here. The hotel was a good location from all the tourist spots you want to go to and the infinity pool was gorgeous. All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and the Staff truly did an incredible job at being accommodating us (ie. holding our luggage since we arrived so early landing around 8AM before the 3PM Check-in) and even checking us in a bit early. From start to finish our stay was excellent and Rio has a special place in our hearts now and is one of our favorite trips we have been on. I am so glad I found this hotel and would stay here again if I ever were to come back to Rio!
