Hotel Bansko

The hotel does have a pretty decent set of facilities but I wouldn't stay there again for the following reasons: Wifi only worked in reception! So you couldn't sit in the room and relax to a film after a days boarding/skiing. Every day that we were in the room around mid day, there would be a horrible smell of sewage both outside and in the bathroom. This felt like it would only affect one side of the hotel which we were on. The walls and ceilings were paper thin. If anyone went to the bathroom above you, you knew about it. The room had an old mini fridge in it that made a LOT of noise at night. I had to unplug it each night. The rooms on our wing typically had a common area outside of them with some couches, insanely annoying trying to sleep with a group of people using them late into the night! The staff were typically really friendly, however we asked one lunch to heat up our leftovers from the restaurant the night before. We were told no, that was it, no. No explanation no nothing. I wouldn't have minded if the hotel served lunch then it would be a conflict of interest but they didn't so I have no idea why I had to eat cold leftovers from tinfoil. Would have hurt no one to let us use a plate and stick it in the microwave!

Only food was not good, everyday the same food, not cook properly and cold.
