Golden Butterfly Villa

First and foremost, the staff was welcoming and were available to assist me throughout my 6-night stay. Mr. March and Ms. Ohn greeted me with a cold drink and warm smiles upon arrival. On my last morning they assisted me with a driver. True hospitality. The hotel itself has a classic rustic style. It is down a private street that was quiet during the nights. Anything I needed was within a short walking distance including restaurants, shopping, massage, and Pub Street. There's self-serve coffee and tea available throughout the day in the lobby garden so my friend and I occasionally enjoyed simply staying in. My room was clean, had cold AC, and even had a little view. This hotel felt like home to me for almost a week. It was a fine place to live for the price, location, and for the people I met. This was my first visit to Siem Reap, and have already decided to return to this quality hotel next year.

the front desk workers were so nice and helpful,the girl had the nicest smile and so friendly,it made me feel great to be back in cambodia...the hotel was older but solid and high quality woodwork and plants,a charming khmer style hotel👍👍

Very good for the price

The Golden Butterfly Villa is a nice property, well-maintained and in good repair, conveniently located a few minutes' walk from the Siem Reap River, Night Market, Old Market, Pub Street, and more for your entertainment and dining. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and is in a quiet spot about 50 m away from the street. There is a school next door, so there is some sound from it, but to my party the sound of children proved to be a feature, not a bug. My most important impression of the Golden Butterfly Villa is that the staff were just wonderful! They really made the stay comfortable and convenient. They greeted us warmly each time we came or went, gave us cool, scented towels to refresh us when we came home from our excursions each day, and even helped us plan out how to go different places and how long to spend there. They have a driver available, who did airport transfers for us and also took us sightseeing by tuk-tuk for one afternoon, to several places we wanted to go; he can also do private tours as a guide - he speaks good English. Overall, I would absolutely choose this property again for another stay.

En bråkete skole..

My balcony had a view. But the best part was the children's laughter coming from the school next door.

The staff was courteous.

The place is very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. Anything you need they are happy to get or arrange. The location is easy walk to everything. The only downside is it’s beside a school so it’s a bit noisy in the morning. At night it’s a bit noisy from the night clubs. It’s not that bad but you can still hear it. I brought earplugs and had no problem going to bed and sleeping in. I’d stay there again.

Clean room, excellent staff. Some rooms are located close to a school and activities can be heard early (6:30am) as well as some club music at night but if you're ok with noise it's not distracting.

Staff welcoming was excellent, 26th drink, dried bananas but also annotated map & common phrases words to know. No lift, but I was able to be on 1st floor instead of 3rd. Navin, part of reception was excellent.
