We had a wonderful time at Lakeview Hecla Resort! Our room was immaculate, with a view of the sunrise and property! Our meal which was fish and chips, at the Seagulls restaurant was absolutely delicious! The dessert, a strawberry and vanilla cheesecake was incredible! We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return! The only sad part of our stay, was we didn't get to experience the lighthouse trail as it was closed for renovation! I guess that means we will definitely have to return and do it all again❤️

Great stay overall- just one night. Driving up to the hotel it looks stunning and the front lobby area is equally stunning. Check-in was easy and got to check in early which was really nice. My room was very nice overall. I was on main floor. Some minor things to note was the floor could have been swept better, and the shower needed re-caulking. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable. The mini fridge ended up being so cold it froze my stuff. At checkout I let them know and they were apologetic and let their Maintenence know right away about it. The adult only pool area was good overall. And drinks could be ordered to the pool if you wanted. Wished the sauna was functional. Restaurant was good and average priced. The patio area was nice for morning coffee. I would definitely stay again. Beautiful location for golfing, beach/hiking trails are nearby, and the Hecla Village historic walking tour down the road was a neat thing to do if you like history. I would definitely stay again!

Highly recommended! The staff were fantastic from the minute we walked in the door until the time we left. The rooms were spacious and clean - bathrooms are very large - very nice! Lots of places to sit and soak up the sun. Evening campfires were awesome! Food was delicious - I can't say enough good things about this place!!

Needs some TLC. Big room, but not very clean … dirty floors, mirrors and tub. Pools were big too but also need some work - brown pool liners and uneven slide stairs that hurt the feet. Restaurant was great, friendly service and great food. beautiful location

The large warm pool is always my fav. Our supper and breakfast meals were delicious. Our bed in room 1103is dipping in the middle. I didn’t tell staff but probably should have. Maybe they read this. The property and grounds were being used up with people enjoying the sun.

I love that is quiet and peaceful walking the trail to the beach. The staff is also accommodating and friendly. The hotel room furniture and fixture needs a little upgrading. But over all I will come and stay in hotel again.

The Hotel is very nice, the property is beautiful; the room was comfortable and spacious. Sadly, it seems like it has not been well maintained. Some walls on the hall has scratches on, vendor machines does not work and they did not provide at least a bottle of water (you have to buy it everytime), one of the lamps in the room did not work, the water in the shower was extremely hot and couldn't adjust it, and the pool area specially the kids one, is extremely rusty. The washrooms in the kids pool area are disgusting, and the shower in the adults pool is broken; we wanted to order drinks to the pool area and the phone was also broken. The steam room is out of service which is upsetting. The staff is not very friendly except for a few people who really wants to deliver excellent service (the gentleman from Chile in the front desk, one of the bartenders at the restaurant were excellent) . When I did the check in , there were information missing, which made some things a little hard (eg. room charges or deposit) I consider all of these "little" details could be better to ensure the guests experience is complete. The hotel is amazing but could be way much better, however was a good and fun experience in general.

Nice stay. Room felt clean but could use some cleanup in the pools. Tons of frogs and bugs out at night. Food is very good at the restaurant but service was lacking a bit and they said no to takeout at 10:30pm when it’s the only option around.
