The hotel has a beautiful setting. The room and bed were comfortable. The hotel is looking a little aged but very clean. We ate outside and our food and server were excellent. For some strange reason the room as very dark. The lights simply did not light up the space.

Staff was great and rooms were nice and clean. Sad that the sauna wasn’t working but we still had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay there! The restaurant has good food and great staff!

Nice large room, with ample storage for a weekend stay for four persons, beds are great but pillows were very lumpy, now that said we were put on the back of the building with a nice view of operations and parking lot! The staff and Resteraunt is great, food is good and decently priced. The table in room marked up and should be replaced but then it sould be larger, considering the room is for four persons. Ikea style chairs were stained, floors not swept, found a dirty sock and other debris under the edge of the wardrobe, bathroom roller door noisy and doesn't stay closed, the shower is rusty and hard to operate. Televisions should be up graded to smart TV to allow for better viewing, cable TV is not very good, both picture and sound were bad.Lots of amenities not operating, 1of 2 hot tubs ,the steam room and the showers in pool and spa area were ice cold. Over all a very worn out hotel with a few nice amenities. As for the spa..the facility is up stairs which I can't do ,so they put a massage table in a storage room, with dirty floors, hoses on the floor, stored chairs...think you get the picture, although the massage was ok, the over all experience was not enjoyable, so if you are handicapped don't do this spa!

Poolside seating is clean and comfy.

The food at the restaurant was spectacular! The service at front desk made me feel like a very special guest!!

Pool is good but i think it’ll be more better if there’s a small slide for kids (small ones 4-7yrs old). The existing slide is extreme for small kids. It’s good tho.

This was a great place to stay with adult pool, spa, family pool and slides, golf course nearby, restaurant and bar, plus you canorder drinks in the adult area pool, with an interior pool that leads to the outer pool area. There is a spa, and many different trail systems along the beach.We came at the first part of May, and some of the trails, were not passable with deep snow.

The adult pool area is unfortunately starting to show its age. Time for a refresh.

The rooms and pools are dated and not deep cleaned at regular intervals. I always bring my own cleaning supplies and the tiles, tub, and floors were dark brown. The toilet seat had pee under the lid and hinges. The bed frame had crumbs, hair, and dirt, although bug/pest free, the mattress has some staining not related to past bed bug activity but from years of wear and tear and people bl*eding through the bed covers. The family pool was unfortunate. There is absolutely no ventilation. It caused immediate eye/throat burning, chest tightness, and dizziness. It’s been 2 days since being in there for 6-8 minutes and I have a persistent cough and nausea. A door was opened as a solution, but it was still not at standard conditions. The indoor oasis needs some upkeep. It is nicer than the family side. All pools have some yellowing I’m assuming from the hard water use. There is dirt and cigarette butts in the pool. I will say that the adults side is better kept, but needs some updates and a cleaning every few days to vacuum the debris and leaves from outdoors (leaves are expected especially being a heated outdoor pool so there’s not much complaints about that). I will say the temperature was amazing. The lobby and restaurant is very nice. The spa is also amazing, I just wish I was told not to book at the end of the day or I can’t access their lounge, teas, or their full experience. The restaurant is 5/5. Average price, excellent food and accommodations + allergy friendly!

We bought ice cream cake for our sons surprise birthday, sadly it melted along the way from winnipeg and the room freezer wasnt helping. I asked the staff for a favor to help me freeze the cake and Vik and Noor/Nur helped us with it. So greatful for them and the hospitality that every staff has is priceless. This is our 2nd time celebrating our sons birthday at Lakeview Hecla

We stayed there for just two days during our trip. The staff was fantastic — attentive without being intrusive. We truly enjoyed our time. The outside pool area was closed for maintenance, but that’s expected eventually, so it’s not a big issue. The sleep was incredibly comfortable — like sleeping on clouds; I’ve never felt this rested! Unfortunately, the spa experience was disappointing. I had planned relaxing treatments with bubbly wine and candles, but I didn’t even get to that. When I inquired about availability, the staff looked annoyed when I opened the door, but I asked anyway. I was told the next opening was in two weeks. When I mentioned I was only there for two days and asked to be notified of cancellations, the staff member simply said “oh too bad” and rolled her eyes. A few years ago, I had a similar experience trying to book an appointment at that spa. Nonetheless, we will definitely return to the resort — I’ll just skip the spa. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
