It was our anniversary and they were amazing, they not only upgraded our room for us, but we were welcomed with a surprise of champagne a congratulatory card and dessert! It was really fantastic and although it’s going through construction right now and there were times of a bit of noise it was still wonderful

My experience at the Rimrock Hotel was simply outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional service from the entire team, always attentive and helpful. I would especially like to highlight the service of Mr. Ulrick Monzorel who was extremely kind, polite, and professional. His courtesy truly made a difference, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable, with spacious and well-equipped rooms that provide a cozy atmosphere perfectly aligned with the elegance of the property. The amenities are of top quality, offering convenience and well-being throughout the stay. Another strong point is the hotel’s excellent location, which makes it easy to access the main attractions in the area, allowing guests to fully enjoy their time without long commutes. In summary, the Rimrock Hotel combines excellent service, comfort, and convenience in one place. I highly recommend it and will certainly return on future trips.

When I initially booked a suite at the RimRock, there was NOTHING mentioned about an upcoming renovation. There definitely was not a discount to reflect the inconvenience of early morning banging and scaffolding up in the windows. I paid a premium price for a noisy stay and tried to spend most of my time away from the hotel to get away from the construction. It was disappointing. The staff were great.

Staff was amazing. So helpful and pleasant. The views are incredible. The property is located in a great area. Walkable to gondola and hot springs. Shuttles run all the time into town. This hotel is under renovation in some areas. That was a bit of an issue with scaffolding and noise during the day, but not horrible and it is necessary. Can’t wait to see the rooms when they are done.

We liked the view from our room. Dinner & snack options were a little limited, and it wasn't that easy to run back to town for food. Hotel was very nice, but some areas such as carpeting is looking a little shabby.

Lovely hotel which we had stayed at previously in 2005. Everything about the hotel is excellent but only giving 4 stars as our bathroom was in need of refurbishment. The ceiling vents and access plates were rusty and a bit of an eyesore. Other than that a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing views from dining and lobby, great dining. Convenient transportation with drop off and pickup directly from hotel to everywhere. Friendly helpful concierge staff to plan and rearrange outings due to weather. You can also borrow hiking sticks and bear spray from the concierge desk if you forget to bring your own. Hotel currently undergoing renovations so view from room not so great but did not affect stay due to being out all day during the day with activities. Glad we chose this hotel for our vacation.

Hotel is very dated. Dirty and dark hallways, fixtures in room (faucets, hooks) loose, dirty walls. Furniture in room showed excessive wear. It wasn’t communicated that construction/renovations were ongoing. Exterior not maintained. Tried to find alternative accommodations after one night but everything sold out in Banff due to long weekend. Certainly not worth the price paid.

So the property overall is not necessarily bad. It just needs updating so I felt the price and the property shape did not match up. But the service is good and itsy convenient, I think they are working on updating the premises. The view! I mean wow you really can't beat that, overall it was fun and staff is cordial

Lovely hotel which we had stayed at previously in 2005. Everything about the hotel is excellent but only giving 4 stars as our bathroom was in need of refurbishment. The ceiling vents and access plates were rusty and a bit of an eyesore. Other than that a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing views from dining and lobby, great dining. Convenient transportation with drop off and pickup directly from hotel to everywhere. Friendly helpful concierge staff to plan and rearrange outings due to weather. You can also borrow hiking sticks and bear spray from the concierge desk if you forget to bring your own. Hotel currently undergoing renovations so view from room not so great but did not affect stay due to being out all day during the day with activities. Glad we chose this hotel for our vacation.

Hotel is very dated. Dirty and dark hallways, fixtures in room (faucets, hooks) loose, dirty walls. Furniture in room showed excessive wear. It wasn’t communicated that construction/renovations were ongoing. Exterior not maintained. Tried to find alternative accommodations after one night but everything sold out in Banff due to long weekend. Certainly not worth the price paid.

From the staff to the atmosphere everything was great. Our only disappointment was no spa as it was listed with amenities and we did plan it.

So the property overall is not necessarily bad. It just needs updating so I felt the price and the property shape did not match up. But the service is good and itsy convenient, I think they are working on updating the premises. The view! I mean wow you really can't beat that, overall it was fun and staff is cordial
