Phenomenal property and excellent staff.

hotels.com over charged me $200 andnim running through hoops trying to get it back, hotel was terrible, service, room everything and was so far from what was expected. will never use hotels.com or stay at the rimrock ever again

We highly recommend this property. All the staff were incredibly personable, professional, and helpful. My husband and I spent one evening in the Lounge area. Beautiful sitting area with an incredible view, delicious food, and live entertainment. The service was exceptional. For our anniversary, we treated ourselves to the 7 course dinner at the Eden Restaurant. It was such an exemplary experience. The food was delectable with so many different flavours combined. The presentation was incredible! All the servers contributed to the beautiful ambience and experience. Very knowledgeable and experienced! The hotel provides bus tickets which was handy to go downtown. The Sulphur Mtn Gondola is only a 5 min walk and the hot springs are walkable too. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and peaceful with the mountain view. The hotel has a pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, squash court, and spa - variety for everyone. Due to the wintry weather, we didn’t walk around the outside but there are sitting areas surrounding the property with lights and bonfires at night. Thank you to the staff for making this getaway one to remember.

Outstanding, we loved our stay.

This is a gorgeous hotel with all the amenities you need; walking distance to the Gondola and Hot Springs, and comfortable beds and top notch linens. Food, coffee, and cocktail lounge all surrounded by ambiance.

The hotel had not been updated in 20 years since the last time I had stayed. We used to do conferences at the Rimrock and I remember it being a very beautiful hotel wit high end service. We also found the food in the lounge to be lacking in variety and quality.

Not a 5 star resort. Close. Carpet worn out badly throughout hallways. Bathroom door repainted 20 times? Carpet bunched in room. Housekeeping didn’t check if alarm clock set for 2 am (good prank). Pump on shampoo broken (again housekeeping should have caught it). Not worth $500 for a view of the front driveway. Positives: beautiful property. Secluded location. Fantastic staff. Lots of amenities. But not a 5 star resort.

We always have a great stay at the Rimrock. We did hear it was bought recently by Allcor Hotels. These guys own Fairmont and about 150 other chains. Hopefully they don’t jack up the price for no reason.

Great place to stay. The staff is very friendly. Easy transportation to town. Will stay again.

This hotel is outdated. Same as 20 years ago. Old carpet in room and corridors, old wall paper. Not worth the price. Parking is $32 not indicated on Expedia.

The Rimrock has a unique location and decadent decor, done in beautiful dark stained hardwoods, perfect floors and incredible staff. Our stay was a first visit to determine if my fiancée and I would like to get married there. Unfortunately the wedding organizer was off for the weekend we were there, but we’ve got it top of our list. The only issues we had were: 1) The bottom sheet on the bed had been stepped on by someone in boots before it was placed on the bed, the footprint was discouraging. Room service came and replaced the sheet immediately. 2) the HOT handle on the bathroom faucet came off, however, its a simple screw-on decorative handle and I was able to correct that immediately as well. The food service, as always, was top notch, and we recommend the breakfast brunch buffet at the Primrose any time you can make it. We’ll be staying here again in the future and hopefully can find a way to make our wedding happen here as well.

I like the scenary. That is the reason for me to go for this hotel. I like the breakfast as well as the views from the window
