WERFY Luxury Apart-Hotel

The property was amazing, clean and welcoming. They initially made an error in my sty and gave me access to someone else’s room. I was appalled, but still had a great stay. Just remember to lock ur door incase someone else walks in accidentally, but they resolved this issue very quickly for me lol!!

Perfect room in a perfect location

J’ai réussi, après des nombreuses tentatives,à rejoindre une personne au téléphone. J’ai eu l’impression de la déranger. Pour avoir la clé virtuelle il faut télécharger et passer d’un lien à un autre et sans assistance, ça devient frustrant. Il n’y a pas de stationnement et ça complique la vie. À la réception de l’hôtel, ils ne sont même pas au courant de rien sur ces appartements. Une fois dans l’appartement, on n’ose plus sortir car il se pourrait que la clé ne fonctionne pas sur le cellulaire…c’est stressant et frustrant.

Alles bestens, aber Parken kostet extra und die Zimmer sind nicht direkt mit dem Aufzug aus der TG zu erreichen

The digital check-in and key is not that great but we were able to get a keycard from the on site staff that overcame these issues. They were very helpful in coordinating our three sequential reservations so that we could stay in the same unit.

Prompt replies to inquiries

Great room, good temperature control, shower including shampoos, conditioners, soap, comfy bed and great pillows. The view was lovely, and the place was very clean. The listing didn’t specify my room was on the 12th floor (maybe it is common knowledge for some people when the room is “1203”, but it wasn’t for me). I found the virtual check in to be a lot of steps, as someone with a learning difference it was difficult to navigate as it required switching between different apps for different instructions. Overall, this place was fabulous and I’d definitely choose to stay here again

Beautiful, comfortable stay with great views WERFY Luxury Apart-Hotel was a beautiful place to stay, especially at night — the view was my favorite part. The apartment felt very home-like and well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised to find usable dishes, cookware, and thoughtful essentials like garbage bags and dish soap, which made the stay very comfortable. Maintenance was fast and responsive — our TV was replaced with a new one the next morning. The only small downside was that the living room/kitchen curtains did not fully close, which limited privacy since the unit faced another building. Also, the location is a bit more Uber-reliant than staying directly in downtown or Old Montreal. Overall, a great stay with a beautiful space and attentive service. Would definitely consider staying again.

Lynx application used for opening the room door could not find my digital key. So I had to wait 30 minutes for some body to come and open the door with key card. Why provide a phone number if nobody answers it?

Good experience and place to stay at.

Despite looking clean and tidy when we arrived, we noticed several concerning issues over time. The toilets had areas of brown sludge in them near the drain (not sure what that was), and several of the pillows in the king size bed had a scalp oil smell to them as though they had not been changed. After having stepped out of the shower onto the bathroom floor, I went back in the shower to retrieve something and my clean feet were dirty again from the bathroom floor and left brown footprints on the damp shower floor. In addition, the sofa bed was caved in the centre and extremely uncomfortable. Most importantly, the listing indicated that parking was available on site. However, there was in fact, no parking available and we had to park several blocks down the street and walk back-and-forth. We went into the parking lot to investigate, and there were many empty spots, including multiple with a sign saying “Griffintown hotel.” Following our stay I complained to the property owner and asked for a discount on our stay. He offered me 20% off a future stay, but I will not be taking a second chance. He asked for photos, however I did not have any so I suggested he go to the property himself and investigate. He felt I was threatening him with a poor review in exchange for a discount. In fact, I believe I was entitled to one given the lack of cleanliness. My recommendation is that if you decide to rent, take a careful look before you decide to stay overnight.
