Our Habitas Atacama

Had an amazing time here! From checking in with Margherita to my room, it was heaven! Amenities was great! Luis Fernando at the restaurant was amazing! Very hospitable and extremely kind! I can’t wait to return!

Sem dúvida alguma, o grande destaque do hotel é justamente a 'hotelaria', da melhor qualidade, com uma equipe bem treinada, um excelente restaurante (dando ênfase ao café da manhã), uma boa área da piscina (que poderia ser aquecida... rsrsrs) e uma arquitetura geral bem adequada ao lugar. Gostaria de parabenizar, em especial, Luis Fernando, que nos atendeu perfeitamente sempre que estivemos no restaurante.

We really enjoyed our stay at Our Habitas Atacama and appreciated how thoughtfully the hotel’s design and aesthetic mirror the surrounding desert landscape. Breakfast was excellent, with a diverse spread and the added bonus of choosing a hot dish from the menu each morning. It was a great way to start full days of exploring. Service and housekeeping throughout our stay were also consistently warm, attentive, and reliable. One of the standout experiences for us was the stargazing offered at the hotel. Being able to step out of our room, sip chamomile tea, and take in an incredibly bright night sky right within the property was truly special experience. We booked our excursions through the hotel’s preferred partner, Trekana, and had a seamless experience. Tours were always on time, guides were knowledgeable, and everything was well organized, allowing us to fully enjoy each outing. As other reviews mention, the hotel is about a 10–12 minute walk from the town center, and the road can be quite dusty. This didn’t bother us at all since we frequently walked into town to shop and dine, but it’s good to be aware of. Overall, we loved having Our Habitas Atacama as our base to explore such a unique region. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

The room was not corresponding with a 4 star hotel and the price. The curtains were broken, in the shower the painting was falling off the wall and the door from the room and out was very difficult to open and there was not other way of getting out of the room - a safety issue in case of fire. I did not look the door for that reason. Staff was helpful.

Lovely space, welcoming and helpful staff, great food and outdoor spaces

The staff was lovely, the food excellent and the property beautiful. Unfortunately we had trouble getting hot water each day of our stay and we wished the free activities were earlier in the morning as otherwise they conflicted with excursions.

The rooms offer limited wardrobe space, and the overall level of service does not consistently match the hotel’s concept.

Quarto com cheiro de umidade. Pouco iluminado, aliás iluminação pessima. O banheiro também. Fiquei na parte antiga do hotel que está mal conservada, precisa de reforma. Pedi para mudar de quarto, fiquei 6 noites, não me atenderam. Sem lugar para colocar roupas, somente meia prateleira, com poucos cabides. Não recomendo e não volto.

Great staff, very clean and nice property, i would have rated 4/5 for pioneer rooms being a bit smaller in size and the hotel did not provide any dental or amenities kit. But the anstronomy experience and the swimming pool more than makes up for the smaller things. Keep it going guys, i would definitely visit again for a longer time

The property grounds are beautiful and peaceful. I loved my room. It was clean and comfortable and had an outdoor shower. The restaurant is fantastic and well priced. The staff was super helpful. I also had an excellent massage while I was there.

Very beautiful place staff is very friendly, however in our three days there we had too many issues with restaurant and reception. One our two issues could have been excused but altogether that really hindered our stay: - charged my credit card a second time for the stay (I had paid in full at check in, they refunded me the extra charge after I complained) - Forgot our meal orders at the restaurant, we complained, they realized their mistake and rushed the kitchen to prepare our food, we waited an hour to eat a half cold rushed burger. The restaurant was not super busy that day. They apologised and offered a 10% discount, felt like too little to late.m - Reception advised us to see the sunset at a mirador that closes before sunset, we rode our bikes there to realize it was closed. - we asked if there was hot water in the early morning that we could take to el tatio, they guaranteed there would be. In the morning there was coffee (which is nice) but no hot water, we asked the receptionist if we could have hot water, they said no. Minor issue but we had especially asked about it the night before and had been assured it would be available and would had been nice to have knowing it was -12C at el Tatio. - the free bikes is a great service, however they are not maintained, the gears don’t work so well and the seat of my bike broke during a ride. If you plan to do a proper bike tour, rent bikes in the city. The lady at the gate was very friendly and helpful.
