Inside the room got small cockroach and inform front counter and they just given answer recently raining frequently and ask to settle it and they just given me the ridsect spray.

There was no power for a day and it was so hot didnt sleep. I had to climb 7 floors down creepy stairs and it was harder to climb up. The condition of the walls and curtains can improve a lot

The carpet in our room was a bit dirty, though the beds and bathroom were clean. It is in an excellent location close to 2 metro stops and streets upon streets of excellent dining options.

Good location

When I arrived to hotel I was informed there is no room for me, even I payed in advance. Service was terrible, they put me in another awful hotel. Imagine when you come to China and you want to rest, no no it was terrible, never take this hotel, sorry but I will never reccomend anybody HOTELS.com service, will never book again by hotel.com

Good place for traveler

A heritage building, close to everywhere, you pay what you get ...There is no central heating, I visited during a cold wave. I couldnt even get an extra blanket on the 1st night, 2nd night, I cant tolerate this cold anymore.. eventually the staff did bring me one.. This hotel is in some sort of heritage old building.. things are felling apart.. the fridge did not work, the shampoo dispenser didnt work... the staff did try to keep everything together and helpful.. i think if you dont mind the condition, it's near everything and plenty of food options..

The stay was very below-average for the price. Not at all happy with the service. The website mentions that they speak english but not one of the staff member knows any bit of english. They are not co-operative at all and the prices are truly unjustified.

Rats ,Cockroaches ,worst run down hotel in China. My stay was a epic mess,the room i got on the 6th floor was a run down smoking room .The carpet and stains that looked like feces .The bed gave me bed mites on the first day and left my legs bitten .The shower had no door and when i showered I had a cockroache always taken a look from a vent .The sheets weren't changed till 3rd day .The staff at desk were usless and had no care about my situation .Expedia was a joke and they told me to push harder with the hotel ...I did and the hotel told me if i didn't like it leave .The hotel was suppose to be 1.5miles from canton fair ,try 1.5 hrs on a bus from there .The carpet in the hall ways were held together by tape ,on the first three floors they have people who run small business from there rooms so the elevators were always full with boxes and people picking confiet items up.

Problems started with checking in. Not given the room we booked, when showed the photo of what we booked and paid for, they said it’s a different room.

The room looked like storage room, very dirty, smelly and lack of sun light
