AC Hotel Santa Marta

A very nice place but if you don't like really cold water in the pool you will not be happy. You think in Santa Marta the pool water would be nice but it felt like Ice water. Insane cold. That is my only complaint.

​Outstanding Stay and Incredible Hospitality We had a fantastic experience staying at the AC Marriott Santa Marta. Everything from start to finish was top notch. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and top-tier. We stayed in a room with a balcony, which was a great space to relax. The service was also exceptional even after checkout, they let us leave our luggage there so we could enjoy a meal before heading out to the airport. Highly recommended

Buen sitio para descansar, pequeño pero comodo.

Siempre uno tiene el nombre de Marriott en buen concepto, pero en la habitación la cafetera no servía, pedí que la cambiaran y que no tenían más (cómo es posible?). Luego me la cambiaron, pero esa tampoco servía. El baño estaba “resanado” en todo el mueble del tocador, las toallas viejitas y las almohadas con hueco en la mitad. Para lo que se paga y más en habitación con vista al mar y balcón, se espera que sea mejor. Las personas súper amables, como siempre, es lo que más se rescata. Pero claramente pueden mejorar en infraestructura y dotación de habitaciones

Loved my stay. Property was well kept and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have been more "local" than international with more local fresh products.

Most of all the breakfast wide spread was the highlight of this trip. It had so many things to choose from. I totally enjoyed. However one issue I don't like the layout of the room. The bathroom is inside the living area and the sink also. The blackout blinds have seams for light escape on the top so the room was bright in the morning. Wifi was excellent and strong because I depend on it to work. The staff and service are excellent. The view of the ocean was excellent

Excelente servicio, hotel limpio y aseado. En la zona de la piscina hace falta mas duchas, solo hay 1 para tantos huespedes.

Un lugar muy completo

This property was clean and well maintaned. The room was a bit smaller than expected but we spent more time doing activities off property, so it was not a problem for us. Air conditioning worked perfected which was a blessing because outside gets pretty hot. Breakfast was okay, i wasn't impressed. As an American, I guess I'm used seeing things like, bacon, sausage, pancakes.etc. They don't seem to be big on having a variety of breakfast meats. They usually have one meat option (chicken, ground meat, sausauge, chicken). There's egss, a variaty of cheeses, and deli meats. Also fruits and pastries. I basically had eggs, fruit and pastries each morning. There are a few other options as well but mostly what i mentioned above. Location was great. Walking distance to a local beach, stores, restaurants, cafes, and city center. The area was completely safe. Lots of local venders to buy food, beverages, fruits or souvenirs from. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Some spoke very English but they were patient as i used my phone to communicate. They did not seem frustrated or impatient while i fumbled to type things in my phone to translate into Spanish. It was almost like a relief for myself and staff to understand each other via the phone. Overall loved the hotel and would definetely stay again.
