If you’re looking stately, refined, relaxing stay in the English countryside then Breedon Hall is the place! Sophisticated charm including personal touches by the owners make you feel right at home. Charlotte prepares you a wonderful 5 star breakfast. Sites to take in are Blenheim Castle, Stoneliegh Abbey. We caught a theatrical performance in Derby and experienced a world class Symphony in Birmingham attend by the Duke of Edinburgh. The home’s decor is beautiful and parking is easy. We highly recommend this Manor House.

Historic appeal of this lovely restored Georgian house. A real sense of quietness and spaciousness. Best of all was the warm hearted hospitality. We also benefited from the location providing easy driving to meetings in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

We had a wonderful two night stay. Charles and Charlotte made us feel very welcome. We would certainly stay again in the future. They were perfect hosts and looked after us very well.

Charlie and Charlotte are naturally gifted hosts. My partner and I booked a stay for a nearby friend’s wedding and unfortunately had to cut the stay short due to work commitments. We wish to have stayed longer!! The property is beautiful, with luxurious rooms and original features. In the morning we were created by Charlotte and Charlie for breakfast along with the other guests, and sat around the kitchen table chatting and laughing about the night before. It was as if visiting an old family friend who we had known for years. The couple have an effortless manner and charm in entertaining, and the breakfast was a culinary delight. Thank you both for being so warm and we hope to see you soon and make up for our stay being cut short!

Breedon Hall was a perfect venue for a birthday surprise for my mother. The Hall provides a comfortable and relaxing venue with everything done to make you feel at home. My mother said it was the best birthday she had ever had!!

The host family are welcoming and interesting/ interested. Got the feeling that they enjoy life and like having visitors! Excellent breakfast, lovely rooms.

I booked this as a special night for my son and his wife who had just had a horrible wedding night at the hotel they had their reception at. I spoke to Charles on the phone and was reassured that they would be fine there. I drove them to the hotel and they were amazed as they drove up the long driveway with the B&B facing them. I dropped them off to enjoy their upgraded Wedding Suite and collected them the following day. They were so grateful and loved the whole experience, a beautiful room, a lovely breakfast and felt well looked after. I will keep this one in my favourites and maybe pay them a visit ourselves one night for a special night away. A HUGE thanks to them for making their delayed wedding night a special one.

Good communication, Charles called on the day to confirm expected arrival, easy to find, good parking on site. Private walled location within the village. Very friendly welcome on arrival with a cup of tea/coffee. Relaxed and informal throughout, hosts live on site and available to offer advice on the local area which they know very well (The Hollybush is closed on Tuesdays) Lovely big bedroom, a real treat, clean and great decor. Breakfast is brilliant, very sociable hosts, great conversationalists, no formal menu just ask for what you would like more or less. Top stay, my best BnB experience, recommended.
