My two friends and I had a great stay. The host responded promptly to our inquiries and helped with our needs. The room was a good size, and the toilet was clean with a nice hot shower

No desk, no housekeeping, no attention the entire 10 days. This is a rooming house. No elevator. The four flight up were hard on a 69 year old lady.
The fridge and microwave were great. The location was EXCELLENT. The price was EXCELLENT.
Stay here if you are INDEPENDENT as a traveler and don’t need anything from a hotel. This CHEAP room was perfect for me because I never spent any time in it except to sleep. The bathroom was like a closet and you had to take 3 steps down to get into it. The shower was a box on the wall with a telephone type cord.

Make sure you have a cell phone to check in! Grocery store nearby and potentially the best souvenir shop in all of London as well (right next to the KFC)

Location was good. Loved the self-check in and access via key code on the door handle. Could have used some soap in the room for washing hands, that’s my only vague gripe. But otherwise, a good single bedroom for the price I paid.

Do not book this place. There are so many reasons NOT to stay here. First, they claimed we would have a double bed and a queen bed. We walked into a full bed in a loft and the smallest sectional couch imaginable. Have a suitcase? Don’t even consider it. There’s no room anywhere to open it. There’s a balcony and that’s awesome! But the problem is the couch (or the double bed I guess) is in the way of the door to open it to the balcony. The places smells. The walls are covered in who knows what. The toilet was left with streak marks in it. We stayed in here for maybe 10 minutes before deciding to just eat the charge and book somewhere else. I own up to the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking, so please don’t do what I did. I will also be contacting Hotels.com to try to take this place off or at least make them advertise it more accurately. I guess the only good side is its convenient location to the tube and Hyde park.

The access was via codes and the code to me room did not work. No one answered the phone and it was not staffed, so I had a very uncomfortable time trying to get any response which eventually came via WhatsApp. I did not feel safe waiting to get in.

La única ventilación era una ventana que daba a un cuadrado sin salida.
La habitación llena de humedades, las sábanas y la ropa constantemente mojada.
Encontrarnos insectos (una pedazo de araña).
Nos cambiaron el código de acceso sin avisarnos. Dejándonos tirados una hora en la calle.
Lo único aceptable la respuesta “rápida” del servicio. Y la ubicación.

Absolutely disgusting service. We had to wait 10 minutes outside after we paid £15 for an early check in, and then they proceeded to make us wait 25 minutes inside because they hadn’t even cleaned our room. We went into the room and there was dirty tissues on the side, a dirty tissue on the floor, a dirty tissue with hair under the sheets, dirt on the bed sheets, and a fake nail in the corner of the room. When we complained all they did was spray the floor. They said that they’d give us the £15 back but have not. Would absolutely not recommend at all.

Les équipements ne fonctionnaient pas : wifi, ventilateur, lumière.
La porte de la salle de bain ne fermait pas, au risque de rester enfermé dans la salle de bain, dont le sol s’enfonçait.
La fenêtre ne fermait pas, ce qui fait que le logement pouvait être accessible de l’extérieur.

Bed was very uncomfortable , blind didn't fit window properly and had to be held down with something heavy but light still came in the sides, the emergency light of which there were 2 light the room up like a Christmas tree, the walls were so thin that the very noisy neighbours it felt like I was sharing a bed with them , came home completely wiped out , hand rail on the stairs wobbled in places,

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. It was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell that made it difficult to breathe, and there was no window for ventilation. It was also very dirty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards.
Because of the conditions, I was unable to stay there and had to book another hotel, which meant wasting money on a room I couldn’t use. The only positive aspect was the location, which was convenient.
Unfortunately, my experience was very poor, and I would not recommend this hotel.

See the pictures to show how different the room I booked was from the room I got. It was night and day difference. The pictures you see on the website are not accurate. You will not get what you expect based off of the pictures.
The staff and admin was spectacularly unhelpful. Do not expect support at all and pay close attention to all emails. You will need to have knowledge of them to get into the building and into your room. Because of the fact that no staff is attending to the place, I found people congregating outside hoping to get in. I don't think most of them had rooms booked. I had to decide whether to police entry myself, which I hated.
The bedsheets in the room were clean, but the floor of the room was otherwise dirty. There was a "basement" mildew smell, and tiny flies constantly in the room. The bathroom was clean and functional, but not nice.
Overall, I can't believe this room is even legal. The bed was so close to the door of the room that the door could not even be opened enough to get my suitcase through without scraping. I had to turn my body sideways to get through the door into the room, and I am not a big guy. If there was an emergency, people would not be able to get out of the room quickly.
Oh, and the green light everyone complains about is real. And it makes it hard to sleep.

It smells like cat urine. Freezer needs thawed, it's unusable. There were smelly trash cans and smokers outside window which needed to be left open due to other smell which added to the stink. Shower was mold encrusted. No storage or hooks to hang anything. Carpet in loft looked like a crime scene. Ceiling fan did not work. No hand towel or wash cloths given. No info on multiple switches in the room.

The only good thing that this place has is the location. The photos on the publications are deceptive. The room looks nothing like the pictures. We took photos of the room. The bathroom has a bad smell all the time and the door knob was broken. For 4 adult, is a really tight space. It is more like an apartment building than a hotel, with not reception or lobby like regular hotel.
