Cambridge Hotel Waterfront

Thebyoung lady on the desk was lovely, very polite and helpful, 2 things that i didnt enjoy was the road noise on the main road and the shower cubicle is small

Jasmin at reception was lovely! She was very accomodating to our requests upon arrival. The hotel is central and convenient to the town centre of Brighouse. Plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee houses. Our room was clean, comfortable, warm and large! We'll surely stay again! Jonathan and Amanda.

The lights in room didn’t work ,, no heating and was very noisy plus no1 at reception for agaes

Visited here for a nearby concert in Halifax.Nice location overlooking a river/canal.Comfortable,clean and spacious room Would stay here again.

Slecht begaanbaar voor mensen die iets minder mobiel zijn. Doolhof van gangen en trappen. Oud hotel. Hier en daar opgeknapt. Geen mogelijkheid om even binnen te zitten om op de taxi of ander vervoer te wachten. De kamer was super. Alles aanwezig. Netheid van de vloerbedekking laat te wensen over. Vies en onverzorgd. Randen en onder de bedden en nachtkastjes niet schoon. Vies dus. Ontbijt zeer karig.

Difficult to find parking (which is payable) Lift not working.. small bedroom.. floor creaking.. Good shower on evening.. cold shower in the morning… It is what it is… reasonable priced so good for a night… needs to rid itself of the other reviews around it’s use and purpose

Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. Finally, as we were visiting Halifax, the short walk to the train station was a bonus. Would definitely stay again. 😁

Nice and comfortable

Great location, great staff and for the price the rooms are perfect. Cant fault anything, would highly recommend.

Negative points Photos of the room didn't match the reality, very very small room, double bed pushed up against the wall and radiator access to the bedfrom one side only, grubby room window wouldnt close so noisy from road Small room no where to put suit cases without tripping over them No breakfast facilities not mentioned upon booking with Hotels.com plus building work going on No hot water for shower after 9.00 pm, freezing cold shower not nice No parking, car park used for an event receptionist could advise us where to park Seemed to be housing local homeless guess they need shelter Positive points Great location, fridge in room, ironing board and iron in room, cheap but for a reason

The hotel had a musty smell all the way through it. The room had very out of date decor, peeling cover of the dressing table. Jacuzzi bath which did not work.
