Supertrevligt läge i anslutning till fantastiska vandringsleder och bad samt beläget i en pittoresk och trevlig by.
Vi bodde i familjerum vilket var jättetrevligt med utsikt över havet. Litet minus för takfönster ovan enkelsängen som inte gick att mörklägga men i övrigt var vi supernöjda med allt.

I had a lovely sea view the lady that checked me in was lovely and very helpful.
The important stuff, peaceful , WiFi is good , phone signal not too bad car park is across the road and reduced rate at the hotel bit of a hill.
I would stay here again did not have breakfast as it doesn’t start until 8am

I thought the hotel was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. The property is run down. There was peeling paint in our room and rust in the loo and on the radiator. The other side of the hotel had a cool breeze but our room was small and stifling in the heat. The bathroom was tiny with an almost miniature hand basin. The pillows were hard. There were no amenities such as toiletries, not even a box of tissues. The staff were pleasant enough, but the hotel is priced like a luxury country house hotel, which it definitely is not! It is also very inaccessible with the parking quite a walk away.

Stunning location and very friendly, helpful staff. Room decent but a bit small. Could do with a fan as no air conditioning. No lift and don't recommend this area or property if you have mobility issues.
You have to pay for breakfast and drinks are also extra. Didn't like that. Breakfast wad ok, bit let down in terms of the very limited offering eg had to pay same for a "veggie option " which was the meat version without sausage/bacon so literally just egg beans and tomatoes which was a rip off. No veg offering at all. No hot options such as porridge or pancakes etc. Continental offering was basic and things not covered so I didn't like that. But it was so so. 5/10 for breakfast.
Major issue is that the area becomes log jammed due to the natural beauty which means traffic in and out to this tiny place is horrendous. There is a large carpark opposite the hotel but if you have cases, luggage etc it is not an easy hike up to the hotel from the car as its steep and not near when carrying stuff. There really is not parking for more than a couple of cars on site and the access is difficult unless in a very small car due to the turn into the property and steep hill up.

We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined.
Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated!
My advice..Go somewhere else.

The hotel is at an excellent location, the attractions are all within walking distance. The stay was not bad, but the internet signal was poor and there’s no hot water to shower. Staff was helpful in checking the hot water situation and we were told there’s a pipe burst situation causing the inconvenience.

A lovely winter break in a perfect location. Staff went above and beyond to accomodate our requests during our stay, an extended family get together for a special birthday (8 people). We had four rooms for our family, good sized family room with double, single and sofa bed with nice sea peek; a twin with sea views; and two doubles, one sea view side. The hotel is a brick historic Victorian country house hotel set in a great elevated position in West Lulworth, a short stroll up from the cove. Rooms in the house are cosy and clean with modern decor and bathrooms. We all found the beds and pillows very comfortable and had a great sleep, despite the wild weather outside! There is a lovely spacious contemporary lounge/dining space which was great for our family to hang out together, with board games and bar. The hotel doesn't do full restaurant any more since change of ownership, they offer pizzas and I think a few bar snack type choices which we didn't try as we ate out locally. The continental breakfast was good, an optional extra, which is a buffet with pastries, pancakes, toast, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meats, good coffee in the lovely large orangery dining space which has beautiful views. Parking permits can be arranged via a code from the hotel for the main Lulworth car park with a small parking area at the hotel for unloading on arrival. A perfect January stay in a beautiful location. Reasonable value rooms. We would stay here again.
