Excellent hotel and pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent and wonderful value for money. The rooms were a good size, wonderfully clean and had everything you would need, including an iron and ironing board. So good that we are booking a return visit!

Was greeted by Hannah, very friendly. She took me to my annexe.
Beautiful spotless, cozy place. Didn't want to get out of bed every morning. Slept better than have in weeks.

But when stayed in No 1 (McNeil) toilet you can get WiFi but you out of toilet you can’t have it! And when outside doorway about 8pm and early morning can’t see get a light on see where I am going!

Staff we dealt with fine.
Shower Room/Toilet was cramped, anyone who was large would struggle to use it.
TV didn't really work as feed froze so gave up watching, and was slow to allow anything else to come up.
Didn't have enough milk for tea, but thankfully good supply in breakfast room.
The breakfast, though self service had everything you could need, and was really tasty. Added bonus was you could chat to other folk staying.

Very nice break, made to feel welcome by all the staff, very helpful as well. The room was very clean and adequate for our stay, good selection for our continental breakfast.
Nice selection of meals on the menu and the food we chose was very enjoyable. Would we stay again yes very likely.
