A lovely hotel in a great location. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dinner in the sky restaurant was very good and good value. I am only sorry that I did not have time to use the pool and spa. We will be back!

I would like to commend the front desk staff member (Young Gentlemen) who checked me in on 19 July 2025 at 1:30 PM. He was courteous, respectful, and provided excellent service, accommodating my request and even allowing me to choose my preferred room.
His professionalism and warm hospitality truly stood out — far exceeding the service I’ve experienced at other Crowne Plaza IHG hotels during my travels from London to Birmingham to Glasgow as an Asian guest.
A big thumbs up to him for a job well done. I will definitely recommend Genting Hotel Resort World Birmingham to my friends and fellow travellers.

This property was AWESOME!!! Room was great, bed was comfortable, coffee maker in room, rooftop restaurant with buffet, and the staff was ULTRA FRIENDLY and top quality professional. Its also very close to train station…I would go back in a heartbeat..

Check in ok, check out not so good, had to ring 3 times before they managed to email the receipt over, air con not great, breakfast not available until 06.30 even for a coffee, and they hold £50 per night in case you eat or buy a drink or wreck the place

Compared to previous visits, a number of years ago, our experience was disappointing. The beds were terrible, with what felt like extremely cheap mattresses. The room was very warm and stuffy and the air con was inadequate…it didn’t cool the room down. Breakfast was expensive for a buffet style help yourself meal.

Staff were unprofessional, room got bumped into 3 times without checking if we were appropriately dress. Got a call from reception that they don’t remember me checking in. It was so unprofessional and unpleasant. Sorted in the end.

Great stay. Good large room, comfortable and quiet. Skybar is a little loud for us, but food is good. Breakfast buffet is better than most and eat us up for the day. Second time we’ve stayed and will definitely be back.
