Stayed here one night on our way home to Scotland. The property is easy to find with plenty free parking. Easy check in with helpful, friendly staff. The room was very clean, tea and coffee in the room, everything you need. We had a meal here in the evening and it was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Gilpin Bridge Inn.

From arrival to leaving nothing was too much trouble. I was on my own and the staff were more than helpful as to where to visit . The food was varied and excellent. Breakfast was basic continental but didn’t want any more. I make what I consider sensible comments not criticism and mentioned these to them.
1 possibly a small fridge in the room in view of current conditions but found out I was lucky and had a larger room so this wasn’t feasible throughout. I tray in shower to hold bits would be helpful. I mentioned. Non slip shower mat but was informed that they were available but no one asked. All in all an excellent 3 nights and I would go again. After I lose weight from the food!

Great little pub on the edge of the lakes. Staff were really friendly. I didn’t have breakfast as working early each day . The food menu had a good selection and the pizza was lovely .

Situated in a very good area for exploring the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. The Management and Staff are brilliant, so helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food and service is excellent.

A little honey pot, when people get to know about Gilpin, you will not be able to get a room.
Wonderful food, very help staff.
The only little down point, is there isn’t a cooked breakfast. But, the breakfast which I did have was delicious.

Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful.
We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful.
Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back

A great location to stop after a long drive. Very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless with lovely locally sourced products. Whilst we didn't eat dinner here it was busy and there us a children's play area too. We ate at the Hare & Hounds; a very pleasant 20 minute walk away. There is plenty of car parking spaces at the Gilpin. The breakfast is very basic. We would definitely stay again but not opt for the breakfast.

Welcoming, friendly staff despite a busy day. Our room was clean and warm. The food plentiful. Breakfast is a self-service continental style. We would recommend the Gilpin Bridge and would definitely book again.

Food was hit or miss, lovely mushroom starter then the special lasagne was dry, and bland.
Breakfast was diy. Not a great range of options.

Continental breakfast is acceptable and all sraff were good, approachable.There was good spacious parking facilities. The restaurant and bar is very good . There was some play area for kids near the parking.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Standard room was small but very good value for money.
