This is a lovely hotel/Pub room was great and comfortable, tea and coffee facilities was also available, the breakfast was a full english with toast, tea, coffee and juices i paid £10 which was worth it.
The only reason why i only gave 4 stars and not 5 was because my room overlooked the main road and around 4 am there was a lot people making a lot of noise shouting, screaming etc coming from bars or nightclubs in the area i am not blaming The Globe Inn for this as it was out of there control, and I'm sure i am not the first to mention this. Apart from this i would recommend staying there, it is only a 10 min walk from Tamworth station.

Stayed in room 8 which is situated next to the kitchen extractor fans. Between 6pm and 9pm the smell off chip fat was pumped into the room then again at 7am for breakfast. It was also very laugh when turned on. My clothes still smell of cooking when I got home .
I would ask for a different room if staying. Apart from that, everything was great for the price.

I travelled here for work, I had a single room, which had the kitchen vent directly outside the window, so had noise and smells constantly. When I asked to upgrade to a different, larger room I was told NO! Why would a hotel not want someone to upgrade??

My colleague found his room noisy and smelly as the Kitchen extraction fan outlet fan was right outside his window. He asked to upgrade to another, double room (we had single rooms booked) but was told no he couldn't upgrade! Crazy!!

The globe is an excellent Inn. Good bar and function room. Our bedroom was comfortable and spotless and breakfast was very good. The staff and service was excellent we would definitely stay there again.

Excellent value for money, all the staff were pleasant and made us welcome especially Clare hotel/Bar manager.
