Gloucester Place Studios

Room and bathroom was clean. Towels provided and great instructions that made the entry and exit easy. TV didn’t connect to internet for some reason, but confident if I had mentioned it, it would have been sorted. I was only there one night so wasn’t bothered. Could do with a few more bits, spoons, tea towels, etc. All in all a good place to stay.

Great accommodation in amazing location. All information for self check on was provided on a timely manner. My only suggestion is they should provide tea, coffee, and sugar as courtesy, since the kettle and mugs are already there. Other than that the studio has everything you need and there's a grocery shop very close by.

It was a lovely studio, suitable for a one night stay in a great location, however the only thing that we found was the room with the toilet in was very small so when you shut the door it hits your knees with no way to move

Perfect for an overnight stay in London and much better than a hotel room would have been

Het Appartement is wat verouderd, de vloer in de woonkamer is deels verzakt en het laminaat is behoorlijk gesleten. In de badkamer brande er twee van de drie spotjes niet. De kookplaat hield op met werken. Douche rekje is geroest en mag vervangen worden. Er is geen contact met de verhuurder behalve een uur voor je incheck tijd dan ontvang je de code voor de buitendeur en het appartement. Vraag vooraf in de chat om de wificodes zodat je die hebt als je aankomt. Verder een prima locatie 5 minuten vanaf de Metro. Buurt is okay. Geschikt om kort te verblijven het is erg klein. Al had ik een apparte slaapkamer die verder van de weg lag en rustig was.

Acomodação razoável. Sofá-cama somente se forem dormir crianças, 2 adultos não cabem nele. Bem próximo à 2 estações de metro e pontos de ônibus. Ficamos no studio 2, destaque negativo para a cabine do vaso sanitário: é separada do banheiro onde tem a pia e o box e é minúscula. Pessoas com mais de 1,80m terão dificuldade de fechar a porta ao se sentarrem no vaso sanitário.

We stayed for 6 nights in apartment 4. It is the apartment on the ground floor straight in front of you as you enter the property. It has a lounge/kitchen area where my daughter slept on the sofa bed whike I slept in the main bedroom. Bathroom was very good. Kitchen also good. Clean and very comfortable. Location was excellent 5 min walk to tube and Madame Tassauds and Sherlock Holmes Museum. This really was an excellent place to stay in London. Useful shops nearby for supplies or dinner. Please note that hotels.com do not have the right mobile number for the host and the host does not respond to online messages or mobile texts and so we were left wondering until last minute if we would get check in instructions. The property was excellent and good vlsue, but comms needs to be better for overseas travellers.

Notre expérience fut plaisante dans l'ensemble, L'appartement était plutôt propre et très bien situé. Néanmois quelques petits points négatifs comme l'isolation, le pommeau de douche endommagé et le calcaire dans l'eau du lavabo de la cuisine

Dryer didn’t work and had a night the heater didn’t work. Staff didn’t reply to any of my messages while we stayed there. Was very very small. Not suitable for a family. Never got back to me about a cot when I asked multiple times. Wasn’t great experience but good location. Do not recommend for family or a group of people. Max 2 people

Todo limpio y funcional, espacios pequeños pero cómodos. Súper ubicación para llegar a cualquier lado.

Things seemed a little scruffy. Shower head needed descaling, the furnishings seemed a little tired, scuff marks on walls etc...

I stayed in flat number one which is in the basement. The stairs to the basement are very narrow and steep but it is right next to the fire exit so that was nice. After reading some of these reviews, I was really worried about the cleanliness but it was pretty clean when I checked in except the carpet is very used. The room is small. I was just traveling by myself so it was plenty for me but for two people it would be pretty squished. Everything worked well. The shower was good and hot and the water pressure was fine. The toilet in this flat had enough room to close the door and not hit your knees. The sink is very tiny and water gets everywhere when you wash your face. I don't know if this is the feature of the hotel, but in the medicine cabinet behind the mirror there was a box of condoms-- unopened thank goodness, but very interesting check in treat to say the least. The things I appreciated was that there was an iron and hair dryer in the room as well as the little space heater which I did not use. And also again, maybe another traveler left it behind but there was a plug converter already in the room which was helpful. The thing that I disliked the most is that there is no AC in the room. There is a fan, but there were a few days when I was staying that the outside temperature was in the mid-50s but the room was like 75° and no air movement at all. And no privacy if you open the window. The interior of the room is completely visible from the street level.

Stayed #2 Where do I start... this place did not resemble the pictures. It was filthy and I mean filthy! Can't go to the toilet without the door closed as sitting would crush your knees when closing door. Patio area hadn't been cleaned in what looked like months. Very tight shower space and when sofa bed out no room to navigate. Sofa bed covered in crumbs from previous guests and the blanket was so dirty. Don't ask about the floor and carpet. While the location is a plus, in a great spot of town with good access to transport, shops and restaurants. I would suggest maybe paying a small amount to upgrade to one of the many smaller accommodations options in the area.

I’m so sorry that I had to experience this with my goddaughter and this was her first experience to abroad… Glouchester Place was so shaggy and dirty that their pictures were a hoax compared to reality. I have been travelling around the world so I have some perpective and I don’t complain in vain. We couldn’t reach the staff after login at all. I woke up first night because rat(s) were running above us… Toilet was so small (can’t see this from the photos) that we could’t close the door while kerping our legs straight. We were only left with a small roll of toilet paper. I had to go to store and buy more because I couldn’t get any touch to staff after login. Kichenware were used and dirty. Only good thing about this place is the location. I can’t still recommend this to anyone, so sorry for this experience..

The area and convenience for visiting the major sites of London is fabulous! However, be wear the walls are VERY thin. You can hear everything your neighbors are saying. Got woken up twice in a 3 night stay from a loud neighbor yelling or getting back late.

Very small property for the size expected, the images don't show flat four. Bits of it are also starting to decay and the rooms were very warm. Bathroom absolutely stank on arrival. But, cheap and a very simple remote check in. So if you just need a simple place to crash around Marylebone this will do fine. Just don't expect to think "I'd love to go back"

Vorweg: mich haben die sehr schlechten Bewertungen hier die geschrieben wurden, nachdem ich schon gebucht hatte, sehr verunsichert. Ich konnte aber nichts davon feststellen und finde sie irreführend. Wir waren im Studio 1. Das Zimmer ist im Untergeschoss hat aber ein großes Fenster. Leider war es zu der Zeit sehr warm in London (32 Grad) und man konnte das Fenster nachts oder in Abwesenheit nich auf lassen da Diebe sonst einfach ins Zimmer steigen könnten. Dadurch wurde es sehr warm im Zimmer. Ansonsten war alle zufrieden stellend und es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
